What's New in Body Measurements Tracker App

2026.21

September 14, 2026

You can now log a measurement without opening the app. Say "Hey Siri, log my waist in Progress", give the number however feels natural, and it lands on today's entry. It works for everything you track, including the measurements you have named yourself. You can also ask what is left to log today. Siri now answers to "body measurement tracker" as well as "Progress", and speaks French, German, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Waist to height ratio has joined BMI as a calculated field. Switch it on in What I Track, add your height, and My Progress gives it its own card and chart with the healthy range marked out. There is a link to the NHS guidance if you would like to read more. Managing your subscription is simpler too. Go to Me, then Help and Support, and it is all in one place. We also fixed weights in stones showing differently between My Progress and Results, and tidied up how custom measurements appear in Spotlight. Thanks as always, Your Team @ Progress

Too many questions

I was looking for an app that tracks all body measurements over time, including biceps, thighs, chest, shoulders, waist, weight, etc.—not just waist and weight.

I answered 15 questions expecting to find a suitable option, only to end up with no relevant options. It was quite frustrating.

Response from developer

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear you have experienced some difficulties using our app. This app does allow you to measure any area of the body you would like. All these areas you have mentioned are available. Please tap the "Me" tab, then tap "What I Track" to set up your points of measurement. If a body part you'd like to measure is not already available you can add it as a Custom Measurement instead.

Stop asking for reviews

Everytime an app asks me to rate them, they’re getting this awful review since that is an annoyance that destroys the app experience.

Don’t let a glitch slide

Updated review: I made the mistake of letting a glitch go without reporting it.

I’ve got two devices, three if I count my iPad and the app started only letting me log from one device. Which was annoying because app purchases are tied to the Apple ID, not the device. I kept putting off reporting this weird glitch this year until it finally stopped letting me track with the Pro Membership altogether this month. I’ve been a loyal subscriber since 2018.

Once I reported it to the App team this week, they immediately jumped on it. Couldn’t have been nicer and fixed it fast. I was so relieved. I apologize for thinking they were pulling something on me by making me buy the subscription again when I had had purchased a lifetime membership. Again, if you have a glitch- report it.

Great app. Great people. Say something when it breaks. Don’t just shrug it off like I did.

Response from developer

Hi there, we believe this issue is now resolved and would really appreciate it if you could edit your review since we have since worked out that we have not downgraded your access to the free tier and there are no shady practices or vagueness with our app. It's not possible for an app to downgrade your access before the year is up. We hope you don't experience an issue like this again in the future, however if you encounter any problems please always reach out via Help & Support so we can look into it further and fix any problems.

Lame

I have been happily using this app for YEARS to track my progress after 150 pound weight loss. I opened it for the first time in a while today to now be told I can only track 5 things and I lost all the data points of my progress since 2019. That sucks so much. Terrible customer service to give no warning or option to even see my previous tracking.

Great measurement options!

I decided to track my weight loss by focusing on inches lost. This app has user friendly options for doing just that. Set what measurements you want to keep track of and set a weekly reminder to take those measurements. I love the data report it keeps for this. It’s easy to see where you currently are and how far you’ve come by scrolling through the history!
