Demands private data/ phone number
I don’t know what level of delusional is required for an app developer to demand a customer verify their personal phone number in order to use a dime-a-dozen breathing app, but I can guarantee I am not ok with the level of permissions requested for a breathing app to function…there are so many other options, there literally is zero reason to give up personal data in exchange for this one. Absolutely NOT.

This app forces you to put in your number so it can text you BEFORE you can use it! It hangs up & eventually says URLSessionTask failed with error: The request timed out.

Without explanation, requires you to enter your phone number. What this has to do with meditation and what they do with your number is any body’s guess.

I was excited to use the app for the first time but when I opened the app for the first time right away it ask for my cell phone number!
I consider my person info sacred and avoid giving it out at all cost. Especially my contact info that they are liking to sell especially when it doesn’t give privacy terms and conditions. Sounds like HELLO ROBO CALLS!

Warum zum Teufel wollt ihr auf einmal meine Telefonnummer, ausser um die Daten noch sicherer an meine Person zu verknüpfen um mich auszuspionieren und sie weiterzuverkaufen? Kriminelle Machenschaften sind das, die Apple sofort verbieten muss.

Looks like a great app to fall asleep to relaxing sounds apes but unfortunately I can't get the app to play sound.

A great app ruined
The latest update has completely changed the app, for the worse. It now requires a verification message sent only to mobile phones in India, USA and France. This is naked data mining and means I can no longer access the app even if I was okay with sharing that data. Completely ruined what was once a great app for breathing exercises.

I’ve been using this app for a while and their recent update now REQUIRES you to give them your phone number. There is absolutely NO REASON why this developer or app needs your phone number. I’ll be removing this app from my phone immediately.

Disappointing update
It was a nice free app, now it will unnecessary ask for your phone number to get in. Not even all the countries are supported. Unistalled.

Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen Pulse Pro im Jahresabo zum Support der Entwickler abonniert und stelle jetzt gerade fest, dass ich per Code aufs Handy validieren muss. Code kann auf Nummern aus US, Frankreich, Indien und Slowakei geschickt werden. Euer Ernst? Dann bietet die App doch bitte nicht im deutschen App Store an. Very unsatisfying!!!

Why?!
The new version of the app is bad. Incredibly bad. Only people from four countries can sign up? Weird animation videos? My subscription is now essentially useless? I’m profoundly disappointed. Just bring back the old version.

I have used this app daily for several years. The latest update requires a phone number. There is absolutely no reason the app needs that information. That is a ridiculous invasion of privacy. I have deleted the app and will not use it again.

I was able to buy the pro version and I’m so glad I did. This app helps me relax at night- I am able to fall asleep faster and the breathing techniques help me quiet my mind. Thank you all!!
