Best out there + suggestions
I have used push for over a year and loved it! I took a break and then used other apps thinking there might be better ones out there but I was wrong. PUSH is really the best out there. Better pricing especially for what you get I love Joe Delaneys videos and so stoked about it app. Forget testing out other apps like me this is real the best out there! Joe Delaney is my hero!
My suggestions.
It would be cool to be able to put eliminate exercises that I don’t want to do like deadlift or back squat out of the program instead of having to swap the exercises all the time. Those exercises hurt my back.( my technique could be bad tho). Also it would be cool to have like a de load week as part of the program. Maybe you have that and I don’t see it though.

Response from developer
Hey Big waffles! Thanks for this, you can actually already do this, when an exercise appears tap on it and then under ‘Info’ you can blacklist the exercise. That being said please keep the feedback coming, our inbox is open and we’d love to chat. Cheers
Love this app but…
Love this app! Genuinely the best app I’ve used for the gym, and have felt myself get stronger the more workouts I do with it. At times it can feel a bit repetitive, but it does switch it up. More importantly; what I feel it still really needs is a travel mode when you don’t have access to weights, so that you can maintain muscle growth progress or maintenance even when you do not have access to the gym.

Does not load
Would love to review but the app does not load. You get the yellow bar at the bottom but it never finished loading. Such a shame as would love to try and a big fan.
Disappointing
Do not get this app. Could not load exercisess. Be careful they took my payment as soon as I subscribed, no free trial .
Best app I have found for training
Really clear that the maintainers have spent a long time thinking and using the UI on this app. It just feels good to use. Subtle details like the tactile feedback to know you’ve pushed something in feels great. Workouts are great, feeling soreness in muscles I have not activated in a long time. Really impressed.

The Watch App Makes This 5 Stars
App is great for tracking and the auto progression takes the stress out of progressive overload
But the watch app takes it over the top. So convenient.

Can’t enter profile details or help and support
I really wanted to like this. Unfortunately I can’t input any details including name, gender, weight etc. When I tap the options it has this reactive animation but nothing happens. Same with the help and support button. I reset the app. Deleted and installed it too. I really loved the aesthetic of the app but it feels like it is vibe coded. Such a shame. Going to go with Built with Science as it also includes meal logging.

Consistently sore from my workouts
Love this app, it’s a perfect app in progress! Please add ability to save when adding exercises to a workout plan.
I know it auto saves in some cases. But it’s unclear when it does that. So a manual button would be helpful.

EDIT: Greatest App - now with a Watch App
I like this app esp for tracking what has been worked on thus far.
Progressiv Overload, Deload or Plateau Breakers are all built-in.
This makes training a non-brainer and more like game with PBs, summaries and a satisfying feedback when progress is happening.

With its rather expensive but absolutely worthwhile subscription this is such a helper with getting my head out of planning and into actual lifting.

Great App
Would love if you guys could implement this into the Apple Watch it’s one of the best training apps out there.
Almost perfect
Great app!! However would love to be able to select which specific pieces of gym equipment are available when using a limited gym/limited dumbbell weights. Also would love a widget for home screen showing the progress body as a daily reminder which muscle groups need focus/rest.
Big ask, but would like this to sync to whoop for muscular load data. No idea if this is even possible without whoop’s coordination tho lol

90% perfect
The app is overall great, I really like the programme management and the auto progression feature. However, I feel like it’s missing a few features that would push it all the way to perfection: live activities showing remaining rest time and current / next set, optionally apple watch integration, and more exercises in the library.

Awesome
Love the app. Takes the thinking out of programming and elite level of tracking. I’ve been such a stop start fitness guy and this app has kept me consistent now for 1.5 years.
Hands down the best gym app I’ve used!
I feel like they have thought of everything when developing this app, it’s brilliant!
A few basic questions and I’ve got a tailored plan that fits my schedule. No more manually entering each exercise, figuring out rest time, sets and progressive overload. It is all calculated for you and is straight forward to understand. The progressive overload is sometimes abit ambitious but it’s easy to edit. If a piece of equipment is not available in your gym there’s other suggested exercises and each exercise has a demonstration video. You simply can’t go wrong with this app, for me it’s perfect and I recommend it to everyone. If your time is limited and you want the benefits of a PT, but perhaps you can’t justify one then just get this app, you won’t regret it!

Perfect! This nails all the tiny things like knowing the weight before you start a routine and being able to reorder exercises.
I rarely write reviews but you’ve nailed this release

Not for this price
I really like the idea, but to less futures for this price…
Excellent
I’ve tried and paid for many other apps to log and track workouts, and this one just clicks. You’ve earned a subscriber and I highly recommend this to anyone including both people who are experienced for just getting started. The only thing I think this app needs is support for live activities.
Love It
App is great, easy to use, looks nice, has easy volume trackers per muscle group, and the dev team is responsive and makes consistent updates
Personal PT
A simple yet elegant app. £50 a year for a personal trainer is well worth the money, scientific growth, backed by studies. Motivation is never higher when it does all the thinking for you. Only on week 2 so will report back if the algorithm is terrible
