UI
This UI is genuinely Horibble or even the worst I’ve ever used. Wealthsimples ui is way better and more rookie friendly, like it’s very easy to navigate and find what I want. This app doesn’t tell me anything and it’s way harder to find or discover stocks.
Broken Update
App called for an update and now will not open at all. Crashes immediately, every time - can no longer use at all

Very good but just broke adding funds
Now adding funds to account is a multi step process instead of simplifying it, this update made it hard. Too much details and not allowing quick actions to be easy. Pls fix it so adding funds is easy.

What is the point of putting security approvals of sign in if you are going to bring the notification every single time upon opening the app!

Unnecessary approval sceeen after login
I’m all for MFA, but after I login in I get another screen asking me for approval. Why? It’s pointless if you’re not prompting me MFA (ex. a code you texted to me) and I have to insert that code on that approval screen.
Not suitable for use on an iPad
After installation, the app only displays in a small, phone-sized screen instead of using the full iPad screen.
“Keep more of your money”
Questrade’s ‘hook’ is that you keep more of your money by saving on investment fees charged by other places. So I transferred a bunch of my investments over to QT. It wasn’t a huge amount of money, but it’s what I had. What I discovered was that unless you use their Questwealth portfolio management option (which you do pay fees for), you get almost no return on your investments. But the BIG issue I have is that now they’re charging me all kinds of fees to withdraw my money: $9.95 for mutual funds withdrawals, currency conversion fees from funds in an RESP. Their customer service team - when you finally get through to talk to someone - is absolutely no help. To placate me for a customer satisfaction issue, they said they’d give me so many ‘free trades’ on my account, but they didn’t log that commitment anywhere so have no record of it. Now I’m having to pay to withdraw my money from QT. I would have been better off leaving it where it was to begin with.

Disappointed
I thought I’d give this a try and start with $500. Made two trades; 1 was a bust, thanks to Trump. Wanted the remaining funds back as a withdrawal but it’s almost impossible to withdraw on the app. Still cannot manage to get the funds back. Ridiculous that it was easy to take my funds but not get what’s left, back.

New update
Not sure what all these boomers on about with the bad reviews. New update looks good, changes pretty intuitive to navigate. One thing i miss is when looking at the market insights of a stock all four segments would be color coded green or red. Could yall bring that back please, not the biggest deal. But psychologically seeing the green felt good.

Bad chatbot interface
Please update your “chat with us” function on iPhone. It is very difficult typing there. Every time I click the area, it is not responding.

Custom indexing?!?
Are you actually freakin kidding me? With custom indexing I got two massive tombs in the mail for the same merging of companies I’ve never heard of in the thousands of stocks that make up the sudo index. I guess I have to close that account so they don’t chop down the rain forest to supply me hundreds of voting documents every year?

Chat is buggy
App looks fine, chat is super buggy. When typing and clicking to send it wont work have to wait for sometime for it to work.

Balance Sheet
Balance sheet feature is awesome but it just randomly disappears. Needs to be fixed.

Don’t make good on promotions, poor interface, no fractional trading, wealthsimple far better.
