WiFi Connection Unstable
Awesome
Poor app
Horrible compared to Rachio
Random Start Times
Poor WiFi
Feels Like 2001
2.0 App is terrible
It times out frequently. It tells me zones are running when they aren’t. It is often so slow waiting for a “cloud connection” that I can’t quickly start or stop the system.
The Rainbird support team are nice but they are not being allowed to be transparent. They are having major problems with no acknowledgement and no timeline for when the problems will be fixed.
Functional at best
Completely Useless
Next to useless
There is nothing smart about this - Same manual options but now I can do it after taking 5-10min to connect + navigate to the zone and manually turn sprinklers on/off. Woof.
Feels like a scam at $100 for the add-on module.
Went and bought an Oto sprinkler instead.
Connecting to wifi is glitchy
App not ready for prime time
Fails to connect to device most of the time
Glitches
Connectivity Issues
Great idea, horrible execution
Good but could be great
Glitchy
Slow to open on iPhone 14 Pro max
All of a sudden this app is working great. Launch time vastly improved. I’d give it 5 stars if it hadn’t taken years to work right.
I’ll update to 5 stars if this isn’t a short time fix!

I close my apps when I’m done with them, keep current on iOS version, and restart the iPhone regularly. Still, this is the slowest app I have. Even tried 2.4 and 5gHz bands. I have gigabit wired service and obtain over 500 Mb speeds on Wi-Fi. Literally take a minute or more to connect to controller (and yes, I’ve tried restarting the controller). Doesn’t matter if I’m right next to controller for starting but distance to controller is key for control AFTER connected. Plenty of free ram and no problems with other apps. Anyone else have this issue?
