Too much info needed
Useless app. Got a new company supplied 2026 ram 1500. Previously had an F150. No issues with the ford app. Went to set up the new Vehicle in the RAM app was told I had to call. Called in. Was told I needed the original bill of sale + my drivers license + company information to add to the app. There is zero reason for you to need all that information. Unable to give it even if I wanted to. So again useless app.

Slow responses
It takes a little time to start, unlock or lock the truck from the app. Some times up to a minute or more
No digital key
Bought my truck with the digital key option in January 2025. Here we are a year and a half later and they still can’t figure it out. RAM makes a great truck but have the absolute worst customer service ever.
Ability to use the app
The app really struggles to be used when it has been open previously and it requires it to be hard shut off. Maybe you guys should look into that.

Remote start disappears
Yes, I have the subscription and the remote start icon disappears and I have tried to fix the issue on my own. I’ll be forced to stop paying for the app if this isn’t resolved in a timely manner.

Functional, Handy, but missing status info
This app is handy. It allows for nice features like locking and unlocking, remote start, and sending directions to the nav. But one big missing feature is knowing the status of the vehicle’s door locks and windows. The app knows the current status of my location and fuel level, but not whether my doors are locked or not. Or if my windows are up. On my BMW app, I have all the same features of this Ram app, but I can also see if my doors are locked or unlocked, and whether all the windows, including the sunroof, are open or closed. I can’t close the windows from the app, but at least I know, and that has been a handy way to check before a rainstorm to know if I need to dash outside or not to roll them up. (Like when you accidentally put a back window down a smidge when actually wanting to roll down a front one, but you either didn’t realize you put the back one down at all, or forgot the back one was down half an inch.) So my big suggestion is to show the status of my windows and doors, not just allow me to remote lock. Seems like the info could be easily displayed, it’s just not. If other car makers can do it, so can Ram.

One of my big questions is does the app account for if you got the 33 gallon tank instead of the 26 gallon? The gauge in my truck says I’m at half a tank while the app says I’m closer to a quarter of a tank.

GAME CHANGER!!!!!
I love this app and knowing I can see my truck at all times gives me peace of mind especially since my last truck was stolen. But also I was in Vegas 15+ hours away from my house and my mom needed something out of the truck and I was able to unlock it and re-lock it all from my phone so far away. I also love I get alerts if my alarm is going off or some one try’s to break in. TOTAL GAME CHANGER!!!!!!

Lots of bugs
Every single day Iget a notification from the app that all 4 tires have low air pressure. Then I get more notifications throughout the day of the same thing. The truck reads correctly because I checked the first few times then knew it was an app issue. Please fix this problem it is highly obnoxious.

Why pay?
Other automakers provide this service for free, why do I have to pay for owning a Ram. Next vehicle I purchase will not be a Ram.
Disappointed
I like all the lock and unlock features . But I was very disappointed that you still can’t unlock my truck with the phone and start it .l called and they said it still hasn’t been added to the app. So why does my touch screen have it but app still doesn’t. .
