I could not make calls to any Austrian numbers at all, which I raised with support. I stated that I had tried multiple numbers/connection types, but they didn’t seem to believe me. I confirmed that these numbers are active using a different service, but they still ended up saying that the “problem is specific to those destination numbers” and to verify with the recipient that their phone lines are active (which I did and stated multiple times). Only reason I gave 2 stars is because I was able to get through to other countries, but the support here is really lacking.

Avoid this app if you don’t want to be scammed, I downloaded this app and got unlimited minutes for £10 a month with 1st week free and as soon as my free trial finished they took some payments and logged me out and won’t let me use it. Then I downloaded it on my wife’s name and loaded £15 on it a week ago and I’ve only managed to get through to them once in the past week and everytime it does ring they don’t get the call but we get charged for it.

calling works 30-50% of the time. if it doesn’t, it’s on you to check for app updates (which is nearly every month or more). really frustrating. i only keep it because it’s the only app i know where you can call reach intl numbers even if they’re not mobile - but if i find something more reliable, i’ll switch in a heartbeat.

Check your bank statements right now. I bought a 180 day calling plan a while ago, used it, and haven't touched the app since 2023. I expected a 6 month package to just expire when it was done. Instead, Rebtel secretly kept my card on file and has been draining $45 USD every six months behind my back. They pulled off this theft by staying completely silent, they never send an email receipt, invoice, or renewal warning. When I caught them and confronted support, they refused to refund my money, hiding behind a 90 day policy for receipts they never even sent me. They are straight up thieves preying on unused accounts. Delete your card info immediately or they will quietly bleed your account forever. I would rate it below zero if app store gives an option. Gonna cancel my card because I can’t risk it anymore.
