Annoying ads

Pop up ads are making the app unusable. Had to ditch the app and switch to web browser

Unusable: Full of ads

Ads throughout the app, everywhere you look. TOTAL TRASH. A pop up video ad appears frequently in the lower left while browsing a forum. Out of no where a video ad will take over the entire screen and the only way out is to close the app. Before and after every response in a thread is an ad. And there’s always an ad at the top. Totally unbearable. It’s always been a janky and visually unappealing app, but the proliferation of ads is unforgivable. And I don’t remember a single brand or ad I saw! If you dare open the app I recommend hovering your thumb over the lower left so you don’t have to look at the pop up video ads. But really, don’t bother with the app if you care about your sanity. Someone needs to create a better deals platform and put this one to rest. EDIT: The trick is to have a VPN enabled to get rid of most of the ads. But ideally people could just post the deals on Reddit or someplace else instead to avoid this altogether.

Ads have been ruining this once wonderful app

You navigate to the forums tab and it’ll display all the categories immediately. You go to select hot deals and what happens? Just before you do, an ad appears, shifting the list of categories down. So instead of going into hot deals, you’ve opened an ad. This seems intentional and strategically placed in order to get clicks.
Additionally, there’s other issues such as the status bar on iOS being white on white, hiding the clock and other info displayed there.
Pages also aren’t properly sized to fit the screen (for a 5.4” mini at least) and is slightly zoomed in so unless you zoom out, you can’t swipe back as that will just move the page.

Buggy, keeps kicking me out after logging in, new interface is worse

Auto-update kicked me out of my account. After I log in and verified, it’ll jump back to being logged out with token error. New interface is also horrible and breaks the existing forum schema making it difficult to find things.
