Great way to get around Denmark

Once someone explains how to use the app, it’s very easy to get around. Would be nice if there was a quick tutorial easily accessed from the home screen for tourists available in multiple languages that showed how to use the app. It could show examples of how it would work if you were going from, for example, Copenhagen to Roskilde and the Viking Ship museum.

App is decent, but could be better

The verification for me, being from the United States, was seamless. It is also easy to buy multiple tickets, which is more than I can say for the Finnish app (HSL). However, the map it provides is not very helpful. I found it easier to navigate to the actual stations using AppleMaps, then use Rejsebillet for buying the tickets.

German SMS

In Deutschland bekomme ich seit Tagen keine SMS. Wie soll man sich da anmelden, um die App zu nutzen? So sind wir gezwungen am Automaten Fahrkarten zu kaufen. Sehr schlechter Service. Es kommt auch keine Rückmeldung auf einer von mir gesendeten Nachricht zurück.

I downloaded the app to purchase my city pass but the registering sms never arrived. After two retries the error message appeared

Foreign Registration failed

Like many users reported already, the registration of a foreign phonenumber is not working. No alternative registration (e.g. via Email) possible. You can call a danish phone number for support instead. To my knowledge this is the only App that offers day passes.

Having to receive an SMS text every time you buy a ticket is idiotic and unnecessary

Just get the Rejsekort app where you can use Apple Pay. You also get a discount during non peak hours. The Rejsebillet app is awful. They also charge you full price even during non peak hours. Nowhere else in the world have I had to receive an SMS text every single time I do anything on a public transport app. You need one to sign up. You need one to add a payment method. You need one every single time you buy a ticket. This may be fine for people who live in Europe but after I’ve already paid for a data only eSIM and don’t have easy access to SMS texting (unless I’m on WiFi) it becomes a huge headache. I’ve used public transport regularly in places like Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, and Switzerland and never found it difficult at all. They even discontinued an app that worked fine (DOT tickets) and forced me to use this app that is inferior. I since learned about the Rejsekort app option thankfully. Yes there are paper tickets and maybe you can buy tickets on all buses if you’re carrying around a bunch of Danish currency but it’s so much easier to have the ability to use your phone to buy tickets. Also, you can’t buy a ticket in advance as it instantly activates on purchase which would be another way this stupid SMS thing could be mitigated but no help there either. This app is an extreme disappointment and should be avoided unless you like paying extra for something that barely works. I will never bother to use this app again if I can avoid doing so and I suggest everybody else does the same.

Completely insane. Inaccessible service without danish number or danish bank

Someone needs to explain basic access to public transport to these idiots. There are thousands of non danes living in denmark. Well apparently not according to the unethical people who designed this with zero reasonable options for them to simply use a city bus. I'm completely flabbergasted, and looking at how they respond to the many reviews stating the same is very educational. It's always a shock to observe the many ways how far Denmark/Copenhagen is behind a majority of normal EU cities in terms of technology and basic human rights. Like this is 2026 😂😂 The rest of the world has figured this out, can you join our century?

Sorry guys, my german mobile number isn‘t receiving the confirmation code and it‘s the only way offered for registration. I tried it on different times on different days… For tourists in need for a ticket this is not acceptable…

Still not working with German numbers

We tried with 3 different German phone numbers. None of them received the verification SMS. This is beyond embarrassing! Even customer service couldn't help. It's really awful, since everyone is referring to this app.

Doesnt work

The app didnt work with neither German nor Polish numbers. I called the hotline and after pressing 9 („press 9 for English”) everything was still in Dutch… Shame!

Kurzfristig geht da gar nichts. Die SMS die zum anmelden nötig ist kommt nie an. Klickt man 3 mal resend code wird man für 24h gesperrt. Und dann steht man ohne Bus Ticket im Regen. 🤦‍♂️
