Deposit
It does not make clear that you can deposit taking a picture of a check until you get through the process. You should let people know when doing a deposit, taking a picture as an option. I was trying to figure out how to deposit using the camera. I just feel it could be made clearer. That’s all thank you😊 I was thinking you did not offer this option

Downhill
Ever since Renesant took over from The First, it’s been all downhill. The ATM in Saraland doesn’t work half the time and the mobile app is a constant headache!
User friendly
Very efficient and easily accessible. Makes the whole banking process much less complicated and stressful.

Doesn’t work half the time.. I’ve deleted and re downloaded multiple times and just a blank screen.

Just downloaded the app and opened it. It doesn’t load past the splash screen. Completely unusable.
App option like The First
Wish there was the ability to notate what each deposit or transfer was for to help with record keeping

The app literally does nothing. Blank screen all the time. How in 2026 is it easier to use the bank website than the damn app. Horrible.

App regression
UPDATE - May 2026: My card was recently compromised and used out of state. I stopped using the card controls because of my previous review. But had I been ABLE to use it, those transactions would not have gone through. Thanks a lot, Renasant.
Things are not going well since the integration of the banking app with the card app. The card app worked while the banking app has issues. Now that they’re one and the same I get constant “couldn’t load card” errors. I expect growing pains with big changes, but this has gone on for over a month now. App QC isn’t a strong point with Renasant. If you lock down transaction types like I do, you may not be able to enable them when needed. So a major function of the now integrated app is pretty much worthless.

This was such a good choice to go mobile with my banking. I have been with Renasant bank 12 years.

Opening the app sucks
It rarely uses Face ID WHEN ENABLED and I have to retype my password & user in
No longer works on iPhone 8
With Zero warning, I went to use my app around April 11 only to discover it no longer works on my phone. I’ve called customer service and they had no knowledge about this either so that was of no help. Feels as though I’m being forced into an expensive phone upgrade just to get my banking info. No thanks, guess I’ll have to start looking for a new bank. That’s ridiculous, not everyone wants to upgrade every other month.
