Bait and Switch

Only 5 hours tracking and then you need to pay. No mention of it lol… save your money

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback about the 5-hour limit. We do note this in our emails and throughout the app, but our team is already working on making it more visually clear. Unlike others who require signing up for a limited free trial, we chose to give users more time to use the app to see if it's a fit without payment pressure. It's a customer-first approach that is different, but we never want users to feel like it's a bait and switch. Appreciate you taking the time to share feedback on this.

Really cool app

I like how simple and easy it is to use. The calendar swipe feature is a big time saver. I added recurring calendar events for weekly PM meetings and calls with my contractor so all I have to do is swipe.

Dude. Seriously?!

This app is basic, which for a free app would suffice. But whoever built it was being “cash grab” deceptive and I wish I could sue to get my 10 minutes back that the deceptive and unannounced trial was. You can get the exact same results and way more detail with Siri and the most basic of calendar apps. The kicker: they want $15 bucks a month for it.. which is nothing but still immensely overpriced for this garbage I might pay $20 for once or ask an AI to build for free. The only reason I’m spending the time to complain is because cause of the deception: no mention of a cost or trial and it wasted a lot of my search efforts because of this. Save your time and Starbucks money and choose anything else, even just Siri. The REPS record keeping is not that strict with the IRS as long as it is done uniformly through the year… cocktail napkins are accepted as long as it’s consistent.

Thanks for the detailed write-up. Quick clarification to set the record straight: REPS Time does not have a “gotcha” trial. There is no countdown, no surprise paywall. Everyone gets 5 hours of tracking for free before making a decision. We chose usage over a 7-day free trial because people don’t decide in 7 days whether they’ll actually track. They decide after they try to track. As for “just use Siri” or “just use a napkin," sure, you can. The IRS doesn’t care if you log on a napkin, a Moleskine, or Excel. They care that every entry includes the date, time, activity, and property. Siri and calendars don’t force you to do that, which is why they fail audits. The napkin method works until the napkin never makes it to tax day. REPS Time is for people who want: • Entries structured to what an auditor will ask • Breakdown by property, not a blob of notes • Instant export without hunting through voice memos • Zero guesswork or missing fields If that’s “garbage,” totally fair to skip it. But deceptive cash-grab it is not. The free hours are there, openly, precisely so no one has to buy before they know whether they’ll actually use it. Appreciate the feedback.

Best reps tracker I’ve used

This App is Great!!

Reps Time is an essential tool for any real estate investor or agent working toward Real Estate Professional Status. The app makes it incredibly easy to log hours, categorize activities, and generate reports. I no longer have to worry about spreadsheets everything is tracked in real time, right from my phone!
