Policy violation - extra fees
I paid rent via a resident portal app using Apple Pay. On the review screen every charge showed a dollar amount and a Grand Total. Next to “Convenience Fee” it only said “Calculated in next step” — no amount was displayed.
There was no next step. The app went straight to the Apple Pay confirmation. Because the fee was never shown, I assumed there was none and authorized the payment. I was later charged an extra $50 I never saw or agreed to.
Also, the “Add New” payment button sits very close to the payment-method dropdown. I accidentally opened the dropdown instead of adding a new method; it still showed no fee, so I proceeded thinking I had selected Add New.
The lack of a visible fee amount before authorization is misleading.

Love the app! The only thing I think is missing is a map of all the apt units and their position in the complex. It would be great if the units listed if they were 1, 2 or 3 bedroom. An interactive map would be fantastic! Click on a unit and it would bring up what kind of unit is was and show a diagram of the interior with photos.

Bad memory!
This portal never remembers your password. So you are always having to (sign in without a password)then typing in the same password. Very annoying. It’s not user friendly at all.

Multiple unnecessary fees
This app charges a convenience fee for literally everything. This is corporate greed, and it is not OK. Why am I paying a nearly 8 dollar convenience fee for using any payment method? who am convincing? I will go as far as paying my rent with the check every month just so I do not have to pay that fee because it is greedy and this company should be ashamed of themselves. We need to stop just letting these companies charge us made up fees so they can leach money out of us.
