The Worst!
App unusable during ill planned timing of server maintenance! Then it kicks you out instead of keeping you logged in and has to get reopened to actually reconnect to the thermostat! Ridiculous!!!
How to login every few weeks
I love the app, but I have to login every time I want to change the temperature. It makes me create a new account and will not remember. My password. Techno is broken.

Property owner
The builder installed this thermostat in my new home. I was pleased because I had the same thermostat and app on my previous home. I found out that the app wouldn’t allow me to delete the old home and add the new one. What should have been simple is seemingly impossible with this app.
Turns out I can only add the new home while keeping it as an addition to my old home. This isn’t a good option. Additionally, the app seems to force me to enter the user name and password once a week. Very annoying! If I could give it a 0 rating I would.

Apple Watch app broken
The app works fine on the phone, but the Apple Watch app hasn’t worked for at least a year.
Splendid
This device is splendid, I love it.
Doesn’t track reality
The main problem I have with this app is that it doesn’t update what it says when the thermostat has a change. For example, if I change a setting temporarily, and set a “hold until” time, after that time has passed, the thermostat will change its setting, but this app still shows the former setting. And if I remove the hold, the app will say it’s following the schedule, but doesn’t update the setting to the scheduled setting.

Stop Signing Me Out
The app is very very limited compared to other thermostat brands. It also signs me out after every time I close it. With all of the money that Honeywell has, you’d think they would be able to develop a useful app.

This remote thermostat has proven to be invaluable to us. Since it’s on my phone i can adjust it anytime from anywhere.

Limited capabilities! No report of AC unit health.
Just monitoring and controlling the wall units is so archaic. In the age of AI, this app is stuck in year 2000! No warnings of AC units health and diagnosis results! Good luck troubleshooting why your outside unit stopped working! No help from Residio!
Honeywell T10 tied to app
I’ve been using a Honeywell T10 thermostat for sometime along with this app. I will say, that the thermostat itself is great. It has multiple sensors, it can control my humidifier, and is responsive at the touch screen. This app however, I mean is this the best you can do? I find the app consistently will not update with current system status, it takes multiple restarts before it figure out the time of Day, what the system is set for, even weather reports can lag up to 12 hours. I don’t understand why data is not coming in instantly to the app, especially after a restart. This is a consistent issue as well, and it’s been this way for a while. I will say they finally fixed the system run time view and it will show you run time, but again, the data lags terrible where it will only show you four days in the past, and nothing about present or previous day usage. I’ve strongly considered reinstalling my old Lennox stat, but I do like the sensors offered under the t10. So let’s get this lag fixed.

Can’t keep this thermostat from going offline. Gets increasingly aggravating to reset the WiFi every few days. No problem with my devices or WiFi.
Terrible
This software system is just terrible. Clearly they’re a hard company not a software company.
Log in
I sometimes get logged out and it’s annoying, I don’t like logging in. I don’t understand why it logs me out.
My least favorite app
Constant connection issues. Constant logouts and having to log back in. Schedule doesn't update after programming so it's unclear if it's set correctly. The only reason I keep it is because I don't want to invest in a whole new thermostat and I have no choice but to use this awful app. In 2026, for an app to be this clunky is unacceptable.

Works adequately
I like I can control from my phone and from Alexa. But the app does not seem to update unless you hit refresh a ton or force close it and open it again.
Only Partial Control
I like that I can control my temperature remotely, but why did you take away the control of the fan or the option to choose heat or AC?
