App kept asking to subscribe

Deleted the app and cancelled the subscription because despite having a subscription via apple for a number of years, the app started asking for a subscription each time I used it as of a week ago. Replaced it with AP.

No longer neutral.

Searched hard to find a neutral news source. Reuters used to be, but not recently. Now strong left tilt! Totally refuse to say anything positive about the right.

Back to Reading Reuters

I am back to reading Reuters and not sure why stopped. The reporting and depth of information is a breath of fresh air.

Why can’t I see the News I want to see?

The app won’t let me unpin “Today” or “Iran War” as tabs - I don’t want these on my feed.

I should be able to follow the News topics I want to see, not be limited to a very random handful of 30 or so categories.

I’d love to subscribe and support the journalism but the design of the app is poor in comparison to others.

Expecting checked facts from news

In a world where truth lost it’s meaning we certainly need to go as close as possible to the origin of facts. For now, Reuters looks like one of the best sources helping to put order in this upheaval of values.

Not a free app

This website is a hoax. If you want to read any of the articles, you first have to subscribe to Reuters. I am very disappointed that Reuters would suggest this is a free app.

Markets layout

Dire updates to Market sections. Too many stories left on the side for too long. Market news far too slow in comparison with rivals. No longer reliable for breaking news. Bloomberg seem to be eating them alive. Won’t be resubscribing unless radical changes.

Excellent; professional non-biased reporting the way it should be. So different than most other media. Little or no spin. Like listening to the podcast options. Reuters far exceeded my expectations. EJP
