I’ve used Reuters as a reliable news source. Unfortunately I had to delete this app due to hearing the news that Thompson Reuters signed a $125M deal to give ICE access to its databases of personal data. I can’t support media that is complicit with this police state.
Selling out to ICE
Reuters has always had pretty fair reporting, but I’m deleting my subscription on the account of Thomson being bought out by ICE. Corporate greed + data for the Gestapo = goodbye.

Balanced and insightful
Reuters is a refreshing change from ideology-based new sites like Fox and MSNBC. I find the articles offer intelligent analysis and a reasonably objective perspective.

Now they want me to pay $4 a month to read news. App deleted. Thanks for ruining a good thing.
Was tv, got tired of it.
Haven’t watched tv in 3 months. Reuters gets to the point of news. A lot of news is within 2-3 hours. My uncle was Army. Not political. Eisenhower wanted a “bullet”
to hit another “bullet” midair.
Uncle “Van” being a mathematical genius, was the primary person for the advancement of our Smart weapons today, as well as the new ship laser. I would have loved to see a few clips of him on tv or news.

You have to pay to read the most basic news stories… I see Reuters has responded with pointless info confirming my review. It should be noted that the AP app provides better quality and is *always* free to use.

When it comes to Canadian Politics, Reuters tend to have left wing writers. It’s unfortunate.

Intrusive paywalls on every story. This used to me my favourite app, now, I switched to AP News.

Allow me to make the text size larger. The titles of the articles are huge but the actual body of the article is still so small and it’s maddening.

A hot mess of a UI
I’m SO disappointed in this app. Bought an entire YEAR of subscription only to find a thin list of topics and an interface that is SO CONFUSING it’s not worth even messing with! You’re introduced to a video, only to listen to a min or so, before being interrupted with a “listen to the full article” link that goes to a completely different article and then never actually plays the rest of what you were originally viewing. Why!? 🙇🏻♂️
