Great Experience

I have been in the program now for about six months. I was skeptical at first, but Ria Health has actually made a difference in cutting down my drinking. My coach is wonderful! She has given me usable and realistic tips and tricks and has helped me reach my goals with zero judgment. Group sessions are low pressure but surprisingly helpful. My partner has attended a few of the family, education, seminars, and said those were helpful as well.

GameChanger

Ria Health changed my approach to drinking. The app is easy to use, coaching team is responsive and I finally feel like I have support. Highly recommend to anyone for a flexible and judgement free way to take control of their drinking

Not sure why such bad reviews.

I have found nothing but supportive and favorable people at Ria. My coach is tuned in to me, and gives me great feedback. My medical provider as well. It’s a process. And I know I have their support.
And the bill people speak of, I have not seen.
I do wish the group sessions were more available

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!

Please do not trust Ria health. They will “qualify” you through your insurance telling you that no matter what you will not have to pay more than $300/month. Then a couple months go by without receiving a bill, and this is the kicker which they do on purpose so that they can continue to overcharge you for services, then two days before your first bill is due they will hit you with a $864 bill. At which point you cannot contact customer service directly. You have to call and leave a voicemail and wait 2 business days for someone to contact you. Then once they get you on the phone they will inform you that you signed up for this service and will unknowingly be charged this amount every month but will only have to pay $300/month until the entire balance is paid off. I tried to fight it and decided to pay the balance off because I didn’t want my credit to be affected since I am trying to purchase my first home and they are STILL charging my credit card $300/month, months after I cancelled my service. DO NOT TRUST RIA HEALTH

Counselors are lazy

Maybe consider calling the client if it’s time for their appointment and aren’t online?

Don’t give these guys money.

BAD AWFUL

What happened to the old app? This new one is GARBAGE! PLEASE go back to the old app. This new app is just JUNK. I don’t even know where to begin. All it is is a breathalyzer

Hmmm

The jury is still out on this app updates. Not user friendly in my opinion and not terribly easy to message Ria admin and support. The direct message link to counselors is helpful however.
I’ll have to wait and see.

Response from developer

Garbage

Keeps erroring out. Was working fine. Nothing has changed on my end. Fix it !!!

Response from developer

What is this?

I’m not sure what they did to the app, but it got worse than it was! I wasn’t happy after the first so called fix now this one is absolutely awful!! I definitely WON’T be using it. If they go back to the original which had some great quotes on it, but they lost me on this one

Really bad application

This new app is horrible. I couldn’t get into it for three days despite giving my email. Finally got in the fourth night. Then the app only worked once with the breathalyzer. Now it tells me that the app doesn’t have proper permissions (it does). Please bring back the old app. I was forced to install this new one and it’s awful. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Already Dislike

Where are the group sessions?? Why do I now need to download another whole Zoom app in order to have my appointments?? Also why do they suddenly need my location on at all times when the old app didn’t even need that while using it? That feels like a violation of my privacy. This change was out of the blue and was definitely a downgrade. I am not happy at all and this needs a lot of work. I spend too much money to be using a trashy app

Response from developer

We understand your frustration and appreciate you sharing your concerns. Group sessions can be found under Sessions > Book > Group Sessions, in the app. While we've always used Zoom for appointments, having the Zoom app installed now helps improve connection quality. Regarding location settings — since this is a new app, both iOS and Android require permission prompts like these for certain Bluetooth functions. The setting is only used to help the breathalyzer connect properly. You can also set it to “only while using the app.” We know the transition has been challenging, and we’re working hard to improve the experience. If you'd like to share more, feel free to reach us at feedback@riahealth.com.

WHY?!?

Why can we no longer schedule our own appointments, why can we no longer send support messages to billing?

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback — we understand the changes can be confusing. You can still schedule follow-up appointments and group sessions in the Sessions tab of the app. Support messages (including billing) can be sent through the Support section. We're continuing to improve the experience, and we appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

Not good

First day using the app it is horrible and doesn’t even show me as a patient even thought I switched over it keeps showing me do consultation there are no group meeting or times listed anywhere and the app keeps starting over

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback — we know the transition hasn’t been smooth for everyone, and our team is working hard to address the issues and improve the experience. We really appreciate you taking the time to share. If you’d like to provide more, feel free to email feedback@riahealth.com.
