Worst app USE VEO!! Drop Bike inc. you proud of this app?
I used this app twice both times were a nightmare the first time the $10 charge the put on your card as a hold yeah they did that to me but they did it six or seven times no eight times so they emptied out my entire bank account and then slowly over the course of two weeks to one payment at a time just slowly get put back into my account. I never did count to make sure that all of it got put back so I have no idea so I was furious. Weeks ago again I’m in New Haven needing to go a few miles figured I’d give it one more shot. I had $14 left in my bank account didn’t wanna watch 3 miles. I had ahead of me so I did on the app make the payment and what do you know they take the money and then the fight I’m trying to start just doesn’t start it never unlocked. They never do it. They literally just charged my card. In fact it’s still pending going on almost 5 days now and of course I got into contact them as soon as possible right hey fix your mistake. Start the bike. Let me get on so I can take my ride. No no no they don’t answer. In fact they have not answered a single one of my messages I have sent them because that’s all it is. Some simple message system, that send out the messages. Although apparently no one who works for this company ever reads them or responds to any contact message requests you send them. I believe I have sent nine at this point. I didn’t answer to a simple one the first couple or to try to get the bike going. The next couple were to just get my money released so I could buy a drink on the 3 mile walk i now had ahead of me. Then the last 5 messages sent have been begging for the money back, I’m trying to make it to payday I legitimately need that 10 dollars back. All to deafening silence USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

East Rock to City Point - ideal.
I love this addition to New Haven, I took a bike home to City Point after a night out visiting friends. I explored downtown and Wooster square before sweeping around Long Wharf to City Point. The extra pep of the e-bike made the ride so causal and fun. I’ll definitely be taking the bike back into downtown often! Wonderful!

Ride New Haven the best in USA
My bucket list goal is 50 miles bicycle in 50 states. I came in on Amtrak to New Haven and utilized the New Haven app to Access the bike. Café lock automatically opens with scanning. No electric dock to click into. Price is much lower than renting a local bike. All bikes were electric some negatives: I was unable to tell how highly charge the bike was which limited my range. The front basket hits a lot of potholes, and you should be able to keep your items in a bag or somehow tied to the inside of the basket. Water bottles Bounced out occasionally. Take the path to Westhaven along the ocean. Quite beautiful!

Subscription Scam
Your account will suddenly be unavailable for no reason. And there will be no customer support. Absolutely horrible your subscription money will get scammed.
No bikes in circulation
Great concept, terrible execution. You can expect 20 bikes to be available at any given time, usually in low traffic areas. Very few are ever in the downtown area. There will be 10 bikes at a given station, but none of them are available due to low battery and broken bikes. Once upon a time this was a great service, now I couldn’t tell anybody in good faith to download the app.
