Poor app for the price of the bike, slow, glitchy, gives info one time and next time maybe not, wife’s Bosch Flo app is ten times better than this app
Used to work!!
This app had worked great for the past 5 years. Now it connects to my bike but won’t check for updates or register speed, distance, etc. The app sucks now!
Not reliable
App frequently fails to save completed rides and shows an error at the end. Losing all ride and route data after finishing a ride is frustrating, please fix the reliability issue
OK if you never ride of mobile data range
This is an example of an app which has a completely needless requirement for you to create an account and login so you can access your local property that you have just paid a large amount of money for. If when you launch the app it cannot connect to the servers. It complains that connectivity tells you your login has expired and demands that you login. This is of course utterly impossible if you are mountain biking anywhere exciting where mobile phones have no connectivity. This completely fails to understand mounted biking and the needs of their customers.

Apple Watch app
Really lacking a app for a Apple Watch like Bosch specialized the other mainstream bike manufacturers
Gets worse with every update, take a leaf from Sonos
This app is getting worse every update and it appears giant dont care. Log in issues, unstable connection. Follow Sonos lead and when they did a poor update their CEO took it upon themselves to get it resolved, which they did.
Where is the e-lock?
Totally pointless, how do I set up the most important thing, to lock my bike?
Recent update spoilt app
This app worked ok 2024 then update 2025 made it worse, with connection issues especially when connecting when on WiFi app crashed when you left home WiFi.
Recent update is terrible now it’s not recording distance travelled. When you pause for a stop route is lost.

Connects but ride function doesn’t work
Hey Giant app IT people. Happened again. My app won’t show any ride info when connected. No time, distance, speed, cadence etc. All of these features began working again after the April 8th APP update. They have now stopped again. Perhaps after latest iOS update 26.4.1 ? Please review

Really bad
It’s pretty obvious this company just dose not care there are so many problems. It will not recognize my info so logging on is not possible and then all of a sudden the next day it kicks in and I can control my bike that I paid good money for. I love the bike but if I have no control well I may not buy another Giant product in the future. Fix the app please

Ok bike app😀
With this app, I was able to change settings, update bikes software. You can check for updates, perform system check, etc. You can lock and unlock the bike, and setup Apple “Where’s my…”

Waste of time
This app is now useless doesn’t work at all tried resetting deleting taking the battery out still won’t work at all
No reading of distance.
I have had my Liv in the shop twice to try and fix my app or upgrade as I do. Continual disappointment to track my ride when connected but works when not connected. Any help out there or please contact me. Over 6 months without a reading. 😡
Disappointing
Cannot activate my new bike which means I cannot use ‘Find My’ or the e-lock. Just continuously says ‘cannot detect bike’ whereas the rest of the app is connected fine.
Annoying
Annoying need to log in each time - makes it useless when many of my rides are in the back country with no coverage.

Account has disappeared and contact us form returns error submitting. Not a good restart
