Couldn’t run our company without it
When a colleague of mine introduced the concept of Rome over a year ago I wasn’t really paying much attention. But I can say with all honesty that our company of 40 people (scattered across a dozen locations) could not function remotely as well as as it does without Roam.
Rome is not perfect but it needs 95% of our needs and has allowed us to all but completely replace Slack and Zoom completely. And they are rolling out new features every single week. And when you have suggestion suggestions or problems? They listen and frequently and act improvements within days.
If you have at least five employees and they are not all in the same physical place all day long. You should give Roam a try. I’m 100% sure you will become a very happy paying customer.

Camera settings
Camera settings come open by default and dont let me choose when getting in a meeting is very frustrating.
Good, just needs some tune ups!
Works well for primary function. One small annoyance is if you let notifications get out of hand - I had 86 “unread” notifications which were mostly just meetings that had been scheduled. There is no obvious way to “mark all as read” so I had to manually click all 86 to clear them. Even after doing that it shows 1 unread on the badge but no actual unread message.

Desktop App Fine, Mobile is Flawed
The desktop app works pretty well, but the mobile version feels like an after thought. The app regularly freezes and has to be closed and re-opened to work again. About 50% of messages sent from my phone show up as not delivered or “pending” and never send. Messages will say they sent but when I log onto my desktop it’s clear that they haven’t.

Like the app but get rid of Peter Lerman’s messages
Like the Roam the app. Hate the random message that Peter Lerman sends. There is no way to unsubscribe from the message which a violation of Canadian privacy laws.
The closest experience to a real office!
The application in combination with the desktop application is the closest you get to the feeling to be in a real office. Great collaboration across departments, beats Teams and Slack by a mile!

I hardly could use the old app but the new updates are awesome!
Mobile App
Please fix mobile app. When you choose to be on your seat from mobile app it shows like you are making phone call and does not let you freely use other apps!
Don’t even try
Both the mobile app and the desktop version are terrible, constant crashes and both make devices really slow
