Start and switch activities, control transport, and adjust volume with the Digital Crown, right from your wrist. Hands-free voice control is built in, including conversational xAI Voice, relaying through your nearby iPhone. Add a complication to launch straight into the room that's playing. PROXIMITY SWITCHING Roomie can switch a controller's active Room automatically from Bluetooth beacon proximity. Use the new Roomie Beacon devices, Roomie IR products that now advertise as beacons, or third-party iBeacons — assign one to each Room, and Roomie activates whichever Room's beacon is nearest. It even works in the background, so the right room is set before you open the app. Enabled per controller with a detection-sensitivity preset. HOME ASSISTANT CAMERAS & THERMOSTATS Home Assistant cameras are now auto-discovered with snapshots and live HLS streaming, each mapped to the matching Roomie room. Climate entities are supported with fan-mode control, alongside the existing lights, switches, covers, fans, locks, and sensors. FASTER CAMERA DISCOVERY Finding network cameras is faster and more reliable, with smarter vendor-aware authentication and one-tap add. Discovery can now reach beyond your controller's own network segment to find cameras on other subnets or VLANs. SMARTER REMOTE ACCESS Roomie now stays on fast local control whenever your controller can reach the primary directly — even across different Wi-Fi networks at home — instead of switching to Remote Access unnecessarily. You can also add a controller that lives on another subnet or VLAN by entering its address directly. SAVANT Control Savant systems through the Savant Open API. Turn on services and issue zone commands — power, mute, volume — for any Savant room, with state-feedback triggers keeping Roomie in sync with what Savant is doing.
