Not worth it

I tried this app years ago and it seems like all the money they have earned they just spend on advertising and certainly not improving their app. The issues I had with it before are all still here. I won’t waste time or money with this again.

My take on Run Across America App

Easy to use, easy to connect to Strava. Love the import multiple activities functionality and it’s for a great cause.

Just do it!

This is an effective app for staying motivating and participating solo (or in groups/teams) in daily physical activities

Using this app since their inception!

I LOVE this app! Each season, there are challenges to complete- including running, walking, swimming, biking, dog walking, etc. It does not matter how fast you are, the app set-up strives to keep you moving. This program has kept me active for many years now!!

Motivation

This program keeps me motivated to walk every day at least 1km but almost always farther. Sometimes much farther.

I love run across America

This is the best workout app I’ve ever used and it shows other people to and it help me keep track of my workouts and you can make teams and join other teams but you got to be invited -Ariana walker

Not the best, not the worst

I used this app & virtual run program for two seasons now - Spring and Fall. The apps fairly easy to use. I appreciate the option to include other physical activities like strength training into the count.
I give an average review because 2x I’ve had mishaps with my registration. First time they sent me the wrong item, and second time I didn’t receive my medal.

Great fun, one small critique

First, let me preface this with the fact that this is only my second virtual race- perhaps this is normal and I should just get used to it. Plus I would like to say I am enjoying how it's motivating me to get out there, and that you have a walking option. I have only one criticism. I signed up for the Fall Frenzy run- though I will be hiking not running. I like the fall season and feel of the race. But I live in southern Arizona, where it is just now in October starting to get cool in the mornings. I managed to get my first hike in early September when there was some surprise good weather, and was really excited to record my first entry. Now how do you think I felt when I looked at my first finish, and the feedback I got was not "good job!" or "nice start," but instead a criticism that I was already running behind schedule. ?????? I was not aware that I was under any schedule other than my own. All the excitement I had evaporated in that moment. I even thought about not bothering with the race anymore at all. I'm glad I stayed with it. I suppose that "motivation" works for some people, but it was disheartening to me.

Can’t even use the app

You have to sign up on a separate website and then pay $55 to even use the app. Screenshots made it seem exactly what I was looking for, so I’m disappointed that there’s a paywall

APP IS NOT WORKING

I was very excited to find out about this program and app. I signed up for the Holiday Hustle. I received instructions to download the app and I did that. The app is not working and I cannot see any pictures or words passed the first screen. I have emailed for support and have only received automated emails in return telling me exactly what I already know and have done. I would love to use this, since it’s already paid for. However, as it stands, I just wasted a lot of money.

Strava Integration Stopped Working

I love this app, but the Strava integration recently stopped working. All of my workouts show in the app, but will not successfully upload. I’m having to manually enter all my workouts and it’s such a pain. Please help!

Great way to stay motivated and fight hunger

I’ve been using the app for almost a year now participating in each seasonal challenge. I’m a daily dog walker and would do so even without the app or challenge. But it doesn’t hurt to get a 5K thrown in every now and then or just the extra motivation that setting a distance goal brings. Badges are rewarded. Some people share selfies. Just makes it more fun. I just wish it worked with Apple health or fitness so I didn’t have to do manual entries every day.

Run Across America

Fantastic Group and App - gets and keeps you motivated to move no matter your age or size. The RAA Team keeps it interesting with a reward system (virtual badges), new doable challenges, great T-shirts, and a responsive Team in the background that takes suggestions, answers questions and updates the app. Join RAA - it won’t disappoint!

Run Across America Keeps You Going

This is a great app to keep you going. Great community and great fun!

Too expensive & UI needs improved

Not easy to navigate, it should be streamlined and other features added especially for the price! Don’t understand why it’s so expensive for only a couple months activity!!!

Fun though inaccurate

It’s been fun to have an overall idea of how many KMs I have run/hiked/skied over an extended period of time.

The latest update made the distance accuracy laughable. I hit 40k crossing the street the other day. Since I know many of the distances I often run, I just edit the distance at the end of the activity.

I wish the app worked - even as a timer - when offline. It generally won’t load at all if you don’t have a network connection.

Teams malfunctioning and no IT support

The teams I had joined stopped showing anyone under 11 for the leadership board. Reinstalled the app yesterday and still no improvement. Today the 2teams I had been on have disappeared.
Very disappointing ks-run

Great fundraiser and challenges, ok app

Really enjoying the fundraiser and challenges. The various activities keep you engaged, and the teams aspect is fun, even if it’s just your family. App is mostly good, but has the drawback of no FitBit integration, so FB users have to manually enter activities. Still worth the effort, though!
