Great planning with flexibility
RunDot is amazing!
Best training app and best community
So I did. The next day, I signed up for a trial. A few days later, I was in—and I’ve been running with Run Dot ever since.
With Run Dot, I finally got a training plan tailored for me—a 51-year-old guy with diabetes. It adapted to how I was feeling right now, not some generic runner profile. And wow, things started clicking.
Heart rate-based runs? Total game changer. I’m now running faster and longer with way less effort. And the cherry on top? The Run Dot community. These folks are pure gold—welcoming, supportive, full of tips, and they make you feel like you’ve found your tribe.
So here’s the punchline: one year after joining Run Dot, I finally broke my 7-year PR and ran my first sub-2-hour half marathon.
Finally PR’d thanks to this app
My new favorite running tool!
Couch to 5k
App is good however
User Interface is Terrible
Navigating the app is clunky and glitchy, some buttons take you to the online platform or to a screen with totally different navigation options as what you had before.
There also doesn’t seem to be a way to adjust workout duration preferences (so mine are all starting out way too long) or day of week preferences other than long days, so mine are all just clustered together at the beginning of weeks unless I manually spread them out.
Developers — please give this app some UX attention, it’s a shame to hinder such a cool concept.
