About

Generate a running route from wherever you are standing. Pick a distance, press one button, and get a loop that brings you back to where you started. No more running the same street every time. No more drawing a route by hand on a map. GENERATE A ROUTE - Choose any distance and get a loop back to your start - Start from where you are, or drop a pin anywhere on the map - Go by distance, or by how long you want to be out - Set a walking pace or a running pace - Save the routes you like and keep them on any device - Draw your own route by hand whenever you prefer RUN IT FROM YOUR PHONE No watch needed. Your phone runs the whole workout: your loop on a live map, spoken directions when a turn comes up, and a heads-up if you drift off the route. The run finishes itself when you arrive back at your door. Prefer silence? Mute the voice any time; the buzz at every switch stays. OR FROM YOUR WRIST Your route and your intervals also run on your Apple Watch, so the phone can stay home. A buzz on your wrist tells you when to switch between running and walking, and your watch records the actual path you ran. RUN WALK INTERVALS - Build run and walk segments from 10 seconds to 10 minutes - Add a warmup and a cooldown - Finish by number of rounds, or by total time - Save your favorite sessions and start them in one tap - Follow a 9 week Couch to 5K plan, from your first minute of running to 28 minutes nonstop COUCH TO 5K, BUILT IN Never run before? Follow the 9 week plan: three short sessions a week, twenty seven runs in total. Week one is mostly walking with short bursts of running, and anyone can start there. By week nine you run 5K without stopping. The first two weeks are free, so you can find out whether it sticks before paying anything. TRACK EVERYTHING Heart rate, distance and calories flow into Apple Health, and runs you record with other apps count toward your streak and totals here. Tap any day on the activity calendar to see the runs behind it. Share any run or a freshly generated route as a clean picture card, and add the home screen widget for a fresh route in one tap. Your saved routes sync, so they are still there on a new phone. WHO IT IS FOR - Runners bored of the same street who want somewhere new to go - Beginners starting from zero who want a plan, not a blank timer - Anyone easing back after injury or a long break - Walkers who want a loop of a set length from their own door - Travellers who want a run in a city they do not know - Anyone with or without a watch: both run the full workout WHY A LOOP An out and back is dull and a one way route leaves you stranded. RunLoop builds a proper loop that returns to where you started, sized to the distance you asked for, so you finish at your door instead of two blocks past it. FREE AND PRO The interval timer is free forever, and you get two free route generations every week. Pro unlocks unlimited routes and unlimited saved workouts, as a monthly subscription or a one time lifetime unlock. No adverts anywhere, ever. No account needed. Open it and go. What's New in RunLoop

2.3.0

August 14, 2026

RunLoop now speaks Dutch, and the route generator gives up far less easily. New in this version: - The whole app is available in Dutch, including the spoken guidance during your run - The route generator keeps looking when the first attempts come up short, so a 5 km loop succeeds more often - If no loop matches your exact distance, RunLoop now offers the closest one it found instead of just an error - When something does go wrong, you get a clear message with a way forward, not a dead-end alert - Distances and times now follow your language, so 4,2 km reads the way you write it - New routes start on Run instead of Walk Plus fewer wasted attempts: a route that was already found is never thrown away.
