Great app - needs a few more features

Overall the app is fantastic
Only thing I wish they would add is a way to input exactly what you wore in case it differed from the suggestion

Helpful app

This app has gotten me into running and has a well working system that’s changes the clothing recommendations depending on where you are or how you feel during your run. It gave me great advice on what to wear, whether it was a hot summer or a frigid winter run. This is a great app and I would definitely recommend it!

95% annoying store, 5% weather

Just use your regular weather app. This isn’t worth the hassle.

Okay for local recommendations

Can’t really go wrong with displaying weather. The clothing recommendations are pretty good. It would be nice if you could the location of the run to see what clothing recommendations. E.g. if you’re planning a trail run or by the beach that you haven’t run before…it would be nice to see the recommendations.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a notes field so if I did follow the recommends, it could note what I actually wore vs the recommends.

That being said, most seasoned runners will already know how to dress based on just knowing the temperature. So I’m not sure how useful they’ll find the app.

Clickbait

Recommendations don’t account for type of run (sprints vs long run). After the first page, it’s nothing but advertising for gear to buy.

Clean layout, helpful recommendations

Easy to use and nice clean layout. I like how it links to gear, for the specific product links but also to just see the visuals of each category. Only request is to go beyond 12hours in the forecast, as it would be handy to plan farther out like for an upcoming race.

Love the app - takes the guesswork out of what to wear! Minimalist and handy.

Would love to see weather projections and gear recs beyond 12 hours.

Didn’t get the email.

I inadvertently just gave the app a fige star review but I haven’t even seen it. I was asked to provide an email to receive a link to confirm which seems unusual - but didn’t get the email.

Needs bug update

Love this app but today all day won’t open at all- loads the main Running Weather screen and that’s it.

Update: issues seem to be resolved. When this app is working, it’s great. Updated to 5-stars.

Previous: I want to like this app, but quite often it will not load anything while trying to get data from its back end. That renders it useless.

Good presentation, poor location assumption

The information is presently well, but unfortunately the app seems to assume that my network connection is the same as my physical location. The app should instead use the iOS location services, in case the user is connected via VPN.
