Changing for the worse!!

I’ve been using this software for 3 years & it feels like one issue after another!! It is technology so I understand there will be glitches.. but this is insanity!! The issues are near constant, having to reach out to customer support is painful because they want AI to troubleshoot first. Only the software doesn’t delineate between practice & patient. There’s always a feature down which prevents you from getting work completed.. today I’m not able to see any encounters; they’re all just blank!! And even when you connect to customer service there’s a 1 in 5 chance that they’re able to actually troubleshoot your issue. This software did get allot right, I love the automatic benefit checks, and the patient portal, the integrated PDMP, the ease of escribe.. I just feel like they’re spending more time on new, new, new.. instead of focusing on the quality, improvement, & upkeep of what is already there!! My last qualm with this software is the difficulty of making your own form templates I can customize forms for the patients to complete yet I can’t customize encounter forms & the ones that you can use are horrible, also not having the ability to identify an admin that can edit & correct dictation mistakes is a huge issue. That was one of the best features of Kipu software.

Really bad

These people are constantly changing their login MFA. You would be wise to stay away from this company at all cost.

Stop breaking things. Beta test first!

As others have pointed out, live ID hasn’t worked since the last update. As you’ve recently made that the only way to write for controlled substances this renders the product nearly useless. I don’t know why you keep changing things that aren’t broken and breaking them in the process. Just chill out on “innovating” and refine the app. Do you not beta test? This is a string of bad issues so I think it’s time I looked for another service.

Stop these senseless updates!!!

Every update so far has ben horrible setbacks!!!! STOP WASTING MY TIME WITH YOUR USELESS, BACKWARD UPDATES!!! Why are my scripts going to print instead of electronic transmissions? YOU ARE GETTING IN THE WAY OF MY PATIENTS GETTING THEIR SCRIPTS!!!! Tell you IT people to stop messing with these updares just to justify their relevance!!! My patients are NOT getting their scripts in time!!!

Used to be easier to use

The software used to be much easier to use prior to the recent update. Not sure why it is buggy now. I couldn’t change the number of refills on a medication, and even entering the number of pills was a chore. Please look over the update and fix it

Lack of notifications need to be addressed

Almost all apps use notifications to notify users about all different kinds of things . This app needs to add notification when Prescription is received in stead of relying on email notifications.

Update Sept 2025
Still no notification . This app desperately needs notifications

What are you doing?

I’ve been using the software for a few years now, and I used to think it was absolutely wonderful. Having all features wrapped into one software system is ingenious however, the last six months have been horrible. Just one change after another after another after another. Every time I acclimate, there’s yet another change. Today’s change has made it impossible to do my job!!

Response from developer

Hey there, so sorry you're having a less-than-stellar experience with our app! We'd love the opportunity to fix things—could you please reach out to support@rxnt.com to share what feature(s) you're having trouble with?

Poor, glitchy, always updating and crashing

Steer clear of

Live ID is terrible

Live ID facial recognition is terrible and frequently fails. It is very slow as well. It makes the app almost useless.

Markedly Improved

The new format is much easier to navigate compared to previous versions. This version is more intuitive and enjoyable to work with.

One bad thing

It’s good but one bad thing is that when you write meds they go downwards instead of the last rx on top. So u have to slide all the way down to write in the sig. it was better when the last rx was on top of the list.

Works well since update

The transition to the new two factor authentication system with facial ID was rough, but since then it’s working perfectly for my solo psychiatry practice. Addendum- after writing this review I got a new phone had a huge problem with ID.me the authentication. The ID help desk was useless. A rep from RXNT called me immediately and walked me through the process. Impressive

Lack of notifications

Need to add notification when Prescription is received

New upgrade is trash

The new live scan makes this app nearly unusable. It is slow, lots of bugs, wastes my time. Live scan uses my phone biometrics to open then forces a picture each time. We absolutely do not need this much protection to send a controlled substance. Can’t use it in the dark. Not awesome when signing orders from bed in the middle of the night. Get out of your own way. I can use the computer and get a push notification and it uses no live scan, but if in the app it does. So slow. Make it stop. Please.

Reliable

Could not be happier with your Rx app. Helps keep the practice running smoothly

Poorly designed and clunky

This app was designed by people who do not prescribe medications. Every step of the way, from adding patients, to accessing patients, to finding pharmacies and writing prescriptions, is fraught with unnecessary inefficiencies. I can’t suggest an alternative because none of these e-prescribing apps are great, but RXNT is by far the worst.

Face ID

I’m not sure what happened, but now I have to input my credentials every time I need to access the app. I use to be able to just use Face ID for login. It is a bit time consuming.
