Basically a scam app, they take your money but leave your profile off so the algorithm doesn't work for you and when you reach out to support they are no help. Match Group are all about profit not users... Stay away from this app just use free option, NEVER PAY
Scammers all over this app
Be aware there’s so many random accounts of people on this app that will act like they’re here to meet people but in fact they’re trying to scam ppl and when you report back to the app their support team wouldn’t do anything about and the scam account would still be active even if you provide them with all the info needed and evidence so I don’t recommend anyone to use it because honestly even the worst dating apps protect the users but not this one ig smh

Think twice before buying the subscription.
I purchased a subscription expecting to use the app, but discovered it didn’t support the functionality I needed. I contacted support promptly to request a resolution. After disputing the charge, Salams permanently banned my account and also blocked my phone number, email address, and payment method from ever creating another account. If you’re considering a subscription, be aware that filing a payment dispute may result in a permanent ban from the platform.

Deactivated my account and I cannot even log in to delete it. It just says contact customer service but it has no customer service number, they only have email and I emailed them over ten days ago and no response whatsoever. Additionally, they collect their money NOT through the apple app, they collect it through separate link, where you have to give away your personal information and if you need a refund, they will never respond. That is why they don’t use apple app for funds. Because apple app would have refunded you if you are not satisfied. Also, profiles here do not show people’s locations. So when you talk to anyone, they are always 900 plus miles away from you.

I haven’t used the app in the last three months and I open it up today and find out my profile has still been open and has been seen by men. Eigentlich gute App
Ist eigentlich eine gute App. Sie gibt mir aber das Gefühl, dass kein Geld zur Verfügung stand um sie vernünftig zu konfigurieren. Es gibt eine Filter Funktion die überhaupt nicht funktioniert! Bis auf das Alter welches man in dem Filter eingibt,wird einem nie das was man von der App verlangt angezeigt. Dann gibt es noch die Möglichkeit eine Entfernungsspanne von 35-95km (bisschen wenig oder?)einstellen zu können, dennoch werden einem Frauen aus Uk und anderen Ländern angezeigt. Shia und Aleviten werden einem angezeigt, obwohl man nur Sunnis angezeigt bekommen möchte und und und! Wenn man geliked wurde dauert es locker effektive 5 Stunden swipen bis die Damen einem im Feed angezeigt werden, was absolut beschämend ist. Eure Paywall juckt mich nicht, wenn ihr nicht programmieren könnt. Nehmt mehr Geld in die Hand! Ansonsten ist es sehr gut dass es keine Obergrenze für das Liken gibt und die Frauen auf der App sind bislang echt nett. Der einzige Grund wieso ich 2 Sterne gebe: weil die App tut was sie soll aber halt absolut kacke.

Complicated not easy to use
I’ve used this app for sometime. It just keeps getting worse and worse after each updated more complicated swipe method and require you to hold phone with both hands which makes it less desirable to use. I’ve stopped swiping for the past month

Leider bin ich von der Salams-App enttäuscht. Ich habe mir ein Gold-Abo für drei Monate geholt, weil man ohne Abo nicht einmal sehen kann, wer einen gelikt hat. Trotzdem muss man zusätzlich 4,99 € bezahlen, wenn man jemandem eine Nachricht schreiben möchte. Für zahlende Mitglieder sollte es zumindest die Möglichkeit geben, beispielsweise einmal pro Woche eine kostenlose Nachricht zu versenden.
Auch die Diamond-Funktionen sind meiner Meinung nach viel zu teuer. Außerdem bekommt man trotz eines kostenpflichtigen Abos nur einen einzigen kostenlosen Boost, unabhängig von der Laufzeit des Abos. Fairer wäre es, wenn man wenigstens einen Boost pro Monat erhalten würde.
Verbesserungswürdig finde ich auch die Profile. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn man direkt neben den Namen Informationen wie Beruf oder Herkunft sehen könnte.
Insgesamt ist es schade, dass viele wichtige Funktionen zusätzlich bezahlt werden müssen.

I bought the 3 month package and looking to finds a partner for marriage. Got 5 match uptill now we exchanged numbers and than after a day and 2 talk I got to know they are scammers. Every time they are looking to get me through crypto and btc and telling me to do online trading through there account and that’s a red flag. So I am now deactivating my account. Be careful Muslims if you’re looking for a genuine connection this is not your place
