Glitchy
I use the app religiously on my phone. Salesmate hangs up the call randomly, it also freezes while your on a call and then it Closes.
The email server omg is so bad…I wish they would just integrate Gmail or outlook.

Good but beware
Salesmate is great.
However, a couple months ago Version 3.0 was rolled out. As far as I can tell, it does not appear there was any testing of the update before release to their clients. The result was something that was nearly unusable. Numerous bugs and crashes and the disappearance of some useful and important functions.
As of this writing, the app is back to what it was before the update. However, for all the stress that was caused (and likely loss of revenue for our business), the app is no better than it was before the Version 3.0 release.
The technical support team is good. However, depending on who you’re talking to on the other end of the conversion, expect them to assume straight away that the problem is user error. They will not believe it is their problem until you can provide them with a screen recording of an error occurring, which can be very difficult to capture. It does not matter how good of a description of the problem you give them, they have to have that recording. Not being believed straightaway when raising an issue is very off putting.
At the end of the day, our company has so heavily integrated APIs between Salesmate and our materials management platform that we can’t walk away. (On the plus side we had very few problems with our APIs after Version 3.0 was released). If not for this integration we would have left.
So, it’s a good CRM but hopefully they will wait a long time and do a lot of sandboxing before they release Version 4.0.

Good before 3.0
Updates always take time to get used to but when efficiency drops, even for a day, due to an update it is extremely frustrating.
Using email on the the iPad is now very clunky. If try to arrow around the text while composing an email I end up in the subject box or address box instead of the next line of text. Formatting is lost when pasting text.
It takes more steps to look for deals and change deal status than it used to.
Perhaps I’m missing something but the calendar doesn’t show individual days anymore but instead is a continuous scroll with only appointments showing and not a “map” of the day (i.e. I can actually see any gaps between meetings).
I hope this gets better…

Make change
Stop asking me to rate every single call, I make about 70 calls a day and I’m sick of being asked to give 5 stars. I really don’t care. Remove this, it’s so annoying.
Adequate, not bad, not outstanding
This CRM was quite simple to set up.
As time goes on some problems that are becoming apparent include:
-Every time a hard close is performed on the app, you’re deal board defaults to ‘all’ and you have to manually add the filter of open status only to avoid being overwhelmed by hundreds of lost leads.
-Automation is minimal and difficult to set up
-Has limited native integrations with other apps and limited options via zapier
-Where is the ability to send quotes or proposals as a native feature?
