Glitches a lot
I have used this for 4 years if I’m not mistaken, and I have not liked it to much a lot of glitches, slowness of the app and now I can’t even see my logs customer service put me on hold just to say fix it with your company I only deal with it because my company chooses otherwise I would go with a different log book

Samsara is great!
Logging in
Use to be able to log in to double check logs or make sure dispatch is doing their job, now it requires to connect to a vehicle before you can do anything. I don’t live in a vehicle 24 hrs a day, so how about you remove the option to connect to a vehicle so we can better plan. Seems like after every update they screw it up more and more

Massive stress maker!!!
Constantly sends violation warnings when nowhere close to violation!!! Doesn’t recognize split sleeper, driving through midnight, or time zone changes without sending false warning alerts. Incredibly stressful while driving. I’ve written about this to their tech department multiple times through the app with no response or improvement. The app sucks.

The worst ELD app I've ever used
I don't know who this app is rated so high when there is up to a five minute delay when changing your status. Sometimes the status change didn't even register. This app is trash and if you're a carrier I would look at different options.
Camera review
Great for improving driving habits. Makes quite annoying and distracting noises for no valid reason sometimes but I’m sure the flaws will be ironed out over time
Needs work
I’m tired of the stupid notifications that keep popping up when they don’t even apply!!! I am in SB but the damn thing will still send a notification that I need to stop driving or violation will occur.
On top of that, when I look at clocks at this same moment, if I wanted to, I could drive another two hours!!!

Remarks section
The remarks section does not fit enough characters to describe my comments in entirety. Please expand the amount of characters available to type *greatly*. Best yet, make it unlimited. I cut down and short form my day just to fit barely any of it in to the point dispatch is clueless as to what I am describing.

Miles counter wrong sometimes
I’ve emailed about it, however write your dash mileage to be sure .
Need to know what the AI thinks the speed limit is
I am forced to use this system with my work truck. I find that it demerits me almost daily for speeding. I am careful to not go over the speed thresholds that are set by my company, so I suspect that the AI is using speed limits that might not be posted. It would be nice if there was a feature in the app that showed what the AI thinks the speed limit is in real time. That way I can have my company admin correct it.

New app feature that doesn’t work
They put a feature on the app that does not allow you to see anything while you are driving except for your hours of service. You now have to pull over to go into PC or to use the sleeper birth function. I understand not wanting to use the app while you’re driving but there are times when it’s necessary and this latest update has made it impossible to make these changes. You should not have to stop completely to change status on the app.

Malfunctions often
You click off duty when stopped and there’s a good chance it’s going to keep ticking your drive time away and unlike motive it doesn’t know you stopped to stop the clock. I hate this eld and will be going back to motive

Great app to use,I’ve not had any problems with it very efficient love that it makes you take pictures of the truck,makes you check for everything on the inspection.Im glad its just front /passenger side/driverside,back of truck pictures.It seems like it drains my battery on my phone or maybe my phone just sucks.Thank you for everything
