SuccessFactors is actively painful to use
I need to be blunt: using SuccessFactors is one of the most frustrating software experiences I’ve had, and the problems are not edge cases — they hit on basic, everyday actions.
1. Approvals are unusably slow. After I click “Approve,” the system hangs for over 10 seconds before anything happens. For an action I perform constantly, this is indefensible.
2. Every page transition costs me 10+ seconds. Navigating anywhere means staring at a loading state. Multiply that across a normal workday and it’s a staggering amount of wasted time.
3. The help tooltips are broken and infuriating. These explanatory bubbles pop up, and looking at them does nothing — they will not dismiss. They reappear endlessly, and they’re positioned right next to the buttons I click most, so they constantly get in the way of the actual task.
Individually these would be annoying. Together they make the product feel unfinished and disrespectful of users’ time. This needs to be fixed — performance on core actions and the tooltip behavior are not optional polish, they’re table stakes.

Can’t Access Wage Slips
The app was fine until the recent update and now I can’t access my wage slips.
Freezes on login
Can’t even login, page freezes after typing in email so unable to use it

So difficult login with MFA. You check on MFA and switch back to SAP App and it makes you restart all over again. You have to be lightening speed to login with the MFA and then it still fails. No success at logging in.
Poor user experience
Have you tested this properly? This was my first time using it, and I went through verification with Microsoft Authenticator. After I entered the verification number in the Authenticator app and returned to this app, everything started over again from the beginning.

Balances
Can no longer view or see annual leave/ long service balances
Update problems
App was great until update in May 2026. After the update I can't load my pay stub.
Unreliable
I have to use this app to clock in/out of work. It’s so unreliable in the fact that it alway logs me out of the app randomly, especially after an update. And because it’s through work I can only use qr codes generated through work to reactivate my account on the app. I can only receive my payslips and use the absentee forms via the app. It’s no good if it keeps deactivating or logging me out of the app when The only way to interact with SuccessFactors is via this app . I can only have this app coupled with work email that I can only access via this app as well . The idea is good but in practice it’s been awful, and to be honest stressful. I never know if I can clock in or out. I actually hate it.

Application Outage
It's been over a whole week that I can not access to my app and payslips due to an outage and that is extremely useless!!
Logs out every time
I don’t know what happened but now every time I open the app, I have to log back in. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
kicks you out constantly
Have delete and reinstall it weekly due to it kicking me out and not let me sign back in

Worst payroll app
This has to be the worst possible payroll app my company could have switched to. Constantly being logged out and we have to jump through hoops just to get back in and just to be logged out again a week later.
