I tested some common grocery items at home. 80% came back as unknown origin. Great idea but not ready for prime time?

Source Info is Hit-and-Miss
It does a good job of scanning the barcode and identifying the item but not the source. I scanned 12 items and it only gave me the source info for 2 of them. If looking for Canadian products it’s probably better just to read the label yourself! 🍁
Needs more data
Of all the things I scanned in my house only five worked correctly and were able to find the product. But still, none of those showed the origin or where the product was made.
Works Well
Excellent free app to inform you of a food’s origin. Very useful for people who want to buy more of one country’s foods or avoid another country’s.
