Can’t login
Tried to sign up for this and the magic link doesn’t work. A modal box pops up with something went wrong, then the app goes back to the login screen and the animation loops after a split second.

Hardly any trains available
I’ve checked 5 different train routes that I’ve had recently in different directions and train companies and none have been available.

Unavailable seats
We booked seats on the 11-47 train from chesterfield to London St Pancras, which was running 40 minutes late to find all seats were taken. Why do seat frog sell seats that aren’t available.had to sit in second class instead a waste Of money
Incredible app and customer service
The app is super helpful and easy to use. You can upgrade your train tickets super easily. Their customer support is also prompt and excellent.
Not as good as it once was
This app used to be great. I used to be able to upgrade to first class on Avanti west coast. Today I thought I was bidding on a first class upgrade auction. What I actually got was “Standard Premium” (Premium Economy). This app no longer provides the value it once did and it is time to uninstall
Great idea, limited for Scotland
Love the different features however a couple of them aren’t available for any Scottish stations (eg. secret fare). Also can’t seem to be able to add a railcard which means I unfortunately can’t use the app to buy tickets as I’d be paying more than apps such as Trainline.
If this is rectified then I’d definitely use it!

Be very careful when using!
The click through from the app may not take you to the right train leaving you with an upgrade for another train. Good luck with customer service. Shame as it’s a good idea
Waste of time
Can't even manage basic stuff like payment details or Apple Pay.
Excellent
Works really well. Generally a lot cheaper than buying first class outright. Much nicer way of travelling.

It’s good but you can’t tell if you already put a bid in and you can pay more by bidding against yourself
Train cancelled. Still charged
Found out in way to station that our train was cancelled. Now I will have to fight for a refund
Doesn’t make it clear you may not get a seat reservation
And no chat or telephone number to contact them. Just unhelpful FaQs
Flawed
Good for a solo traveller, but you can’t be sure that 2 people upgrading in the same transaction will get seats together. I’d rather sit together in standard than apart in First Class.

What a dreadful seat
I bought a first class ticket from Paddington to Bridgend on the 11:12 service. I am seated at the rear of the train without a window. At least if I had bought a seat from GWR, I could have chosen a true first class service. Seatfrog is such a sneaky, nasty app.
