Doesn’t work 98% of the time
Utter garbage. I can see the controller is connected to my WiFi via my WiFi network app and it has a strong signal. However, when trying to connect via this app it just shows the spinning donut of death and eventually says can’t connect. If I keep trying, maaaaybe after 20-25 minutes I will get it to connect. Same on my wife’s phone and on an android phone I have. I tried customer support and told them all the diagnostic steps I’d already tried. After 10 days they wrote back to tell me to try all the things I literally told them in my email that I’d tried.
My advice… get rid and get a Hive.

Next to useless can not connect
This app has always been substandard for the digital age of apps that control stuff however the content inability of the app to connect to the controller is so frustrating! Pass the contract of the development of the app onto a developer that is going to take it seriously and develop an app that is usable! Or give us an api to control the heating from another app or home assistant!!!

Absolutely awful
Doesn’t connect 99% of the time. The novelty of watching the circle spin around as it tries too and then fails again soon wears off.

What a shame that this app is so poorly designed. And it’s mega slow which is so annoying. If I had known then I would have never have chosen this model or app. Seriously needs updating.

Worst App Ever
This has to be the single most useless app ever created. Not only does it refuse to connect 99% of the time, even when you do connect there is no boost for the heating, but there is one for water?!?! But as previously stated, it never works anyway. Worst app EVER!
Works but basic and slow to connect
The app functionality is very basic but it works.
My main gripe with it is that it seems to take anywhere from 2-30 seconds for it to connect by bluetooth. That’s fine if you don’t use it often, but I use it at least once a day to time my hot water around Octopus Agile half hourly tariffs.
It’s nice that you can copy a schedule to all days of the week easily. It would be nice though if that wasn’t necessary in the first place, and you could just set a single schedule that applies for all days.
I have not yet tried it in wi-fi mode.

Terrible
Absolutely useless. Takes so long to connect, disconnects constantly. Piece of utter trash, government has given the worst, cheapest and most useless people a contract and it clearly shows. The people coming to install it have no idea how it works either and just come to do a job and go home with no care in making sure everything is working properly.

Basic To Say The Least!
Well developers of a water heating device. Why have you created such a simple switch that’s good, but sadly such a basic app control that is dreadful? Having said that the back box is rubbish, why make something 2 different colours? First the display on an iPhone does not show the boost countdown correctly - Why? Second, connecting from app to switch can be lengthy, why so long for such a basic setup? Third, more important I have 3 of these switches, but when wanting to turn on a boost for example, I have no idea which is which!! WHY not do something simple and include an edit button to make each device reconcilable???? Simples! I’m m not daft enough to know you will not listen or take note, but going give it a go. Update….31st May Well you wonderful developers, you have in fact added a name identification change option! Yep to the right of the notification bell there SHOULD be a settings gear, BUT on the iPhone 11 that CANNOT be seen!! That gear icon also gives access to the Wi-Fi connection, BUT if you cannot see the gear I cannot use the app for Wi-Fi, BRILLIANT work!!! I would suggest you check all phones to confirm what works and what doesn’t. Poor app why release such an app if you cannot see the icon?

Oh dear another problem with this poor app! After adding another system to the app, you cannot remove it if you want to! WHY? There is no link to say manage system. How stupid is that?

Worst software app I’ve ever used
Absolutely awful. Terrible UX. I don’t believe the developers ever tried using it.
Add immersion timing to app
The device has been installed for 1 week and working fine. I have the WiFi add-on on order. The big piece missing on the app is setting timing on the immersion heater. You have this functionality for your thermostats, can you carry that across for the immersion heater users? Thanks guys!

Not a bad app. Does what it needs to do and easy to set up. Much easier than the Hive app which I have used and is painful to set up so well done secure controls.

Absolutely shocking how basic this app is. My 10 year old Nephew could create a better app than this. You should feel ashamed. I only have this box because it was fitted for ECO-4. At the moment it won’t even allow me to edit the schedule and saying it can’t find the Device, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but that hasn’t changed anything

The schedule doesn’t work and won’t let me adjust it either
App is shockingly bad! I just want a timed on and off option not periods that seem to keep my heating on all day! The schedule won’t update either keeps saying error try again 🤯

Appalling customer service. App won’t connect to device. Not at all intuitive. Really fiddly settings. Impossible to work easily. I’m scrapping it and buying a different thermostat. No tech support at all. Can’t contact anyone for help. No stars at all.

Absolute rubbish
I can’t figure out how to use the app since it never connects. What’s the point of having a smart system if you can’t connect to the app when you are not at home?

Doesn’t work
Worst app I’ve ever come across, doesn’t work, can’t add my thermostat details because before it quits. Can’t even contact support because nobody responds or picks up. God knows how the company is running.
