Lost functionality

Old version SEMS+ gives me perfect control of my EV charger. This new version almost always gives an error message. I’m forced to stick with old version until something is fixed.

Constantly Offline

Since we’ve had our battery this App has spent more time not working with no readings as it’s offline. Almost every second day. Not very helpful for the technology it could provide. It’s not our Internet as we have satellite and that’s 100%. Something needs work.

Battery

Found it easy to navigate. But would be good if you are running two battery stacks in parallel. They could so SOC individually an as a whole system.

Update review

I’m happy with the app layout and features. Such an achievement. Just one thing I was hoping for regarding latest “homepage” update was including removing the “generation and revenue calculation” widget so it’s just the house view. It would give customers choice of serenity and balance. Please consider.

Export not working

Worked great until the latest version, now it refuses to export any power in TOU mode. Export power limit says -1w off and you can’t change it. Very disappointing.

We are now in control !!

The sems+ app is great, we now have everything we need to optimize our power usage. It would be good to have more information specifically on grid usage and calculated associated costs and to trend this information, as our goal like many households is to reduce power bills. Also the option for some alerts would be good ie battery full, empty, high grid usage.

Need a widget

Easy to use. However, really needs a widget to show battery % at a quick glance on lock and/or Home Screen. Can’t be that hard.

Great app, but needs text size adjustment options

I am really enjoying using the SEMS+ app. It works great, but the text size is a bit too small for me. Every time I open the app, I have to look for my reading glasses just to read the data. It would be incredibly helpful if you could add a text size adjustment feature in the settings. Thank you for the great app!

Viel schlechter als die alte

Die App bietet eine viel schlechtere Übersicht als die alte App. Warum will man nicht die alten Ansichten zusätzlich ermöglichen. Gibt doch gar keinen Grund, darauf zu verzichten. Insbesondere die Grafen sind nicht gut.

Mal wieder fehlt die Übersichtsseite

Schade. Optisch ansprechend und modern mit einem frischen Auftritt. Aber der für uns wesentliche Gesamtüberblick mit der Startseite fehlt wieder. Wie damals bei dem Start des Vorgängers. Ich hoffe das wird nachgeliefert.

Easily and Conveniently switch between different modes of inverter, understand my production and consumption patterns throughout the day. I also like the house UI.

Communication errrors

More often than not there is no live data and both my inverter and EV charger show as offline as does my system generally. The SolarGo app shows both inverter and charger as operating normally and both devices show up on my router. It seems to be the app that is not communicating with my devices despite reinstalling it and ensuring the most recent updated version.

Recent update

Goodwe added a SOC limit for TOU mode then removed it.

It need more control over inverter/battery with other company’s showing more information like time to full charge or set SOC and time to discharge or set discharge limit.

Settings would be hard to find for some but I’m use to it now.

Overall needs a bit of tweaking

TOU lacking features

Main issues:

- Not able to discharge back to the grid to a certain SOC - i.e. discharge to 60% SOC so there’s enough left over to run the house till the next morning
- Not able to set how many KW to discharge to the grid - currently it has a discharge power limit but that includes the load of the house. It would be better to have a grid discharge KW limit

Grundsätzlich ganz gut

Grundsätzlich finde ich die App gut. Sehr schade, finde ich allerdings, dass die Wallbox nicht mehr eingestellt werden kann. Früher konnte man sagen, dass man nur vorhandene Energie nutzen möchte. Das geht jetzt leider nicht mehr. Für mich ein klarer Rückschritt. Kostenkontrolle so nicht mehr vorhanden.

Amazing App

The SEMs+ app is sleek, efficient and responsive. The battery just works based on what settings you set.

I seen other apps from “leading” battery manufacturers and yes there is more data however it makes running your battery convoluted. Keep up the good work GoodWe!

Generation revenue not useful

Generation revenue at the top header is calculated using the FIT rate. This is the same rate as the export to grids calc when you scroll right. What’s the point. I would like to see generated revenue as the opportunity savings based on the import tariff.

Unübersichtlich und keine Vergleichshistorie

Ich finde die neue App vom Erscheinungsbild natürlich moderner, aber leider viel unübersichtlicher als die alte Sems+.
Was mir aber absolut fehlt, ist der direkte Vergleich zum Vorjahr. In der alten Sems+ gibt es ein schönes Diagramm, wo ich täglich, monatlich und jährlich sehe, wie es im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr ist.
Wenn das nachgeschoben wird, würde ich 4* geben.
