Very low pay for heavy deliveries
Restaurant Depot orders in San Jose pay extremely low. Many deliveries are heavy, with large boxes and long loading time, but the pay does not match the work. The price is not calculated fairly based on the weight, distance, and effort. Drivers spend time lifting heavy items and still receive very low offers. This feels unfair to drivers very very very bad

These people that run this app are thieves . They stole 4 runs I completed cause I complained about a run that got canceled then kicked me off the app . Absolute garbed people behind this thing look else were for work
Customer Support is lacking
When I first started driving for Senpex, it was great! It had a lot of jobs, high wages, and if you arrived to pick up an order and it was a blank trip, theyâd reimburse you $25. Nowadays, jobs are rare & itâs difficult to get a hold of support during normal hours (noon).

Support never once replied back to me as I was making a delivery for them!!..I unloaded over 2k pounds of bagged rocks and wasn't paid a dime!
The Worse Support Ever
Senpex has the worse âsupportâ ever!! Rude, accusatory, and inconsiderate IF they decide to actually respond. They can disable or lock out your account where you wonât receive any new courier orders without any prior warnings or communication of your account status. They consistently blame and fault drivers for clear Senpex App technical issues without any resolution. Just a horrible business model!!

If you do do a job for this company just know you run the risk of not getting any money especially if the you make it to the pick up location and there is any confusion with the order they will just cancel it and give you 0 pay they donât communicate at all you can clearly see this company is just chasing orders anyway they can and without any care for the delivery person I got orders I did and I get to customer house and deliver and look at the order and it say cancel and I reach out to Senpex who say they will send it for review and still havenât heard nothing and itâs been three months!

Unfair practices in California
I have worked for Senpex in the state of Pennsylvania , Colorado, and California. Only in California does Senpex automatically take the job away from you (providing it offers a substantial gratuity and can be offered to another driver) without giving you time to respond to the inquiry regarding the an additional confirmation one hour before. They do not exercise the courtesy to call you , they expect you to respond via the in app, and do not give you enough time to do so. As drivers , this is a dangerous practice as you have to manipulate the app to respond and the app doesnât actually doesnât alert you very well, subtle ding , to let you know. If you are planning your day , Senpex is not the way

Drivers beware
Absolutely awful donât drive for this platform, they cancel all the good paying jobs with no communication. Every other job is always a $20.00 dollar tip regardless of size or distance. There actual commission is only $9.00. Way below minimum wage especially in California.

Only for 3/4 months after that they donât give u order or anything stupid customer support never help and this app not worth donât waste ur time

They penalize drivers for issues that are clearly caused by their own system, then leave you hanging with vague warnings and no real explanation. Communication is slow, unclear, and feels automated â like youâre talking to a wall. Instead of helping, they make the situation more stressful and confusing.
On top of that, thereâs no transparency. You can follow the rules and still get punished, while support gives copy-paste responses that donât solve anything. It honestly feels like drivers are disposable to them.
I wasted time, gas, and energy dealing with Senpex, and I regret ever signing up. If youâre a driver looking for reliable work or fair treatment, stay away. This company is not worth the frustration.
