From 5 hours too late to real time protection
I use Sentry Pro all the time, and it does a great job. If it detects something around my car, it immediately sends an alert to my Apple Watch. Whenever I get an alert, I open the app on my phone and see what’s happening around the car.
I subscribed to Sentry Pro after staying at a hotel where, overnight, people were breaking into cars and preparing to steal catalytic converters in the parking lot. My Tesla had beautiful color video of the people involved, but I didn’t see it until about five hours later. By then, it was obviously too late to catch them in the act.
The hotel didn’t even know what had happened in its parking lot until I showed them the video.
After that experience, I downloaded Sentry Pro. I feel much better about leaving my car parked now because I can get alerts and view the cameras while something is actually happening instead of discovering it hours later.
I love this app and use it all the time.

Downloaded it. Set it all up and nope…cannot get notifications without a monthly fee.

Be very careful. They advertise 7 days free then a monthly or annual charge with cancel any time. I tried to sign up for this to try it out then do monthly. I was immediately charged a one year subscription for $49.99. I never had a chance to review for 7 days or sign up for monthly. Apple subscription would not refund. Waste of money

Love the Notifications
My first Tesla and was disappointed to see that the Tesla app lacked notifications. Sentry Pro is sweet. I wish I could adjust the notification volume as it’s rather loud when I’m in a meeting. lol. It’s all good though.
Very unreliable.
Received alerts the first day then they completely stopped. So if you are relying on Sentry Pro to let you know immediately if something is happening to your vehicle this app is not for you. I am extremely disappointed that this stopped working and I reached out to support and so far no response.

Much better than the Tesla app, which doesn’t notify you until after the damage is done.

Je me suis fait avoir en prenant l’abo pour un an. L’app fonctionne aléatoirement, est extrêmement lourde pour rien, mais surtout demande des autorisations Tesla qui n’ont rien à voir avec le mode sentinelle. Et j’ai remarqué que depuis qu’il y a des apps concurrentes qui fonctionnent et bien moins chères, le développeur a commencé à ajouté des fonctionnalités alors qu’en 10 mois rien….. ça fonctionne pas mais le développeur ne fait rien…. Bref mieux vaut regarder d’autres apps fonctionnelles.

Une précision importante concernant les autorisations: chaque autorisation demandée par Sentry Pro correspond à une fonctionnalité précise, et chacune est facultative. Si vous préférez ne pas accorder une autorisation donnée, vous n'avez simplement pas cette fonctionnalité — rien n'est demandé au-delà de ce dont une fonctionnalité a réellement besoin, et aucune donnée n'est utilisée à d'autres fins. Tous les accès passent par l'API Fleet officielle de Tesla, pour laquelle l'application a été examinée et approuvée. Concernant les mises à jour : l'application est activement développée. Ces derniers mois seulement, nous avons ajouté la programmation du mode Sentinelle, la programmation des actions dissuasives selon l'heure de la journée, ainsi qu'un historique d'activité, parmi d'autres fonctionnalités. Si l'application se comporte de manière instable chez vous, c'est presque toujours résoluble — écrivez-moi directement à support@sentrypro.app et je vous aiderai personnellement à régler le problème et à trouver une solution.

Seems to be a bit hit & miss, connectivity to sentry (stating off when it’s on) and camera activation, nothing at all last night. Reached out to support for help.

This is yet another app where the developers think their app deserves to notify the user constantly because it's the only app a user would ever have to use. This app does nothing but pester me all freaking day. The more notifications one receives that are meaningless, the more this app becomes meaningless. After using for less than two weeks I'm canceling my subscription. I get way too many non-essential notifications. I get them throughout the day, throughout the night, even when I'm working out. By default this app will notify me when I'm sleeping and even in a workout. I've gone from being excited about this app, to be annoyed by this app, it's really hating this app. At least I can set off a warning that's a fart sound.

Great App —— Too Sensitive
It’s great to be notified when something is happening around your Tesla, but the app is too sensitive to Sentry. People can’t even simply walk by without setting off the alert. My girlfriend may walk outside to grab a package and she barely makes it out the door before my Cybertruck honks at her.

Clip organization is clean, events are sorted by severity, and the map view showing where incidents occurred is a genuinely useful touch.
The native Tesla experience of pulling a USB drive and scrubbing through footage always felt clunky. Sentry Pro fixes that. Battery impact has been minimal, updates are consistent, and it’s clear the developer actually owns a Tesla.
Worth every penny if you care about protecting your car.

This has been really good. Improvements. Noticifcation options or add options for IOS shortcuts app parameters. Example, I want to vent my windows if the temp is between X and Y, and if there is a sentry alert, close the windows and a set time to vent the windows again. There needs to be a way to capture a alert notification. Unfortunately apple does not allow to capture a notification, so there is no other way around this. Sentry pro can create parameters for Shortcuts app to detect within the app. Thank you.
