App continues to fail

I’ve run the app for a very long time and my VA providers have never been able to see the data. We are told with the new EHR providers can see this data however the new version of this app crashes every time you connect it to Apple health making it a completely useless app.

Won’t work

I have downloaded it 2 different times and after adding everything when I close the app and go back in, the app won’t work at all.

Doesn’t work

It rarely lets me sign in. Is there a fix for this?

Screen locks up after first login

The app crashes after logging in. I can get it working by deleting the app and reinstalling; however, the next time I login, it does it again.

Good

Good

Buggy and unresponsive

Can’t scroll or tap anything after logging in

What’s the point?

Not sure what the point of this app is. Its usage seems poorly integrated across the VA. I’ve talked to a number of my providers who don’t even know about it. Neither do they care. When I make the point of sharing this data with doctors, they shrug and say it’s not very important or useful to them. How can this be effective? This seems like a waste of tax money to me.

Doesn’t work

App hangs at startup after the first use. Does not pull data from Apple Health. Completely broken and unusable.

Issues

Since downloading the app. Its frozen at startup, wouldn’t refresh, deleted the app, reinstalled, doesn’t freeze now but wont refresh. I have a great wifi signal in my home. So for me the jury is out, but its not a great start.

Doesn’t upload

My scale doesn’t sync and upload to the site.

Don’t believe the five star ratings

I think some of the raters do not know how to use the system. One star means pathetic app. Five star means great app. But when you read the reviews you see that some of the people had it backwards. This app does not work properly. I’ve been tracking my blood pressure with the Apple health app for the past several months. None of that data has transferred from Apple health to this app. Even though I have connected and reconnected several times. As for my Apple Watch, I don’t even see it as a choice for connecting as a device. It would be a useful app if it worked as advertised.

outdated

This app operates under the old assumption that the only way to improve health is to; increase steps and distance and or reduce calories.
Tons of new and not so new data suggest that strength training and weight lifting offer health benefits that far out weigh (no pun intended) those that are achieved by Long Slow Distance training such as walking, jogging and etc.
The concept of caloric reduction is also equally out of date. The need for a reduction of caloric intake indicates that a subjects activity levels have decreased to a point that their current eating habits are providing an excess of energy which is not being used but is being stored as body fat that in turn is creating unhealthy conditions within the body.
Someone who is training for strength, needs to increase their caloric intake, which in turn provides energy for the lifts, builds muscle and strength and increases recovery economics. As strength increases, so also body fat decreases.
So, to conclude; this app should allow entries and data collection for ‘weight lifted’, ‘time spent lifting’ and anything else related to measuring the benefits of this type of activity.

Ease of usage

Thank for update the records portal!

Excellent app

I use Apple Watch and it looks like a great way to share my data collected with VA’s health care providers (if they know how to access it). One of my health care provider said they might not be able to access it due to VA’s security. Users should note that Apple supports only a limited amount of health device. But you can manually input data in Apple’s Health app and SMHD will sync it.

Apple Watch Not There

Went to add device, but Apple Watch not listed.

Zero support

I’ve called the support line a number of times. They immediately state it’s a Login.gov issue (which it is not) and say, “Let’s conference them in to resolve this.” Then, rather than doing as stated, they blind transfer you to Login.gov and the Login.gov support team always determines it’s not a Login.gov issue, but since the app support person lied and did not stay on the phone, nothing gets resolved at all. Aside from that, when I was able to log in, every VAMC provider from three different states has, to this date, been unable to reference or find where this data is sent.

Thank you

I’m so glad for now knowing how to almost navigate system, many of us x military are very old
:-)

Pushed to comply

It's just okay. It's clunky but it works

Nice idea, but

Since the data this app sees originates with my devices, it should not require me to login to see my own data as seen by the app. I deleted the app as soon as I saw that. Security is a good thing, but there is such a thing as “too much of a good thing”. I would really like to be able to more easily share my health data between systems without excessive hoops to jump through.
