Not sure if this app is even updated

I had not used this app for a year do to injury. I just opened the app to learn I have lost all my purchases I made. I bought all of the specialty programs and the app is not showing them. This is very frustrating as I paid good money and no one is responding.

Just did the most recent update and now it’s not opening.

Response from developer

Sorry about that. Please check the latest update and go to the Dashboard and click the settings button on the top right. You can restore all your purchases there and you should be good to go from there. If you have any further problems you can also send me an email from that same page.

Loved the app but can’t access purchases

Had to get a new phone and don’t remember my password. Tried resetting my password multiple times and don’t get an email. I had also purchased some of the focused workouts but cannot access them now.

Response from developer

Please check the latest update. If you previously used Facebook to login you can create a new account and login that way since Facebook has been removed from the app. You'll be able to restore all your purchases as those go through your Apple user account instead. If you have any further issues, send me an email through the app and I'll be happy to help.

App has bugs

Tried to reset the app after purchasing a 10.7 dollar program from the bench program

I don’t have access to it after I deleted and reinstalled the program it says to buy it again.

I need to my refund

Response from developer

Sorry about that and I agree a refund is in order. Please check the latest update and restore your purchases by going to the Dashboard and clicking the settings icon on the top right.

This app gave me gains

It works as long as your consistent, doing the daily workout for increasing my overall lifts took me 1h45-2h to complete. My squat deadlift and bench increasing surprisingly more then I ever would have thought.

Works great.

The app works great and is very useful.

Used to be a great app

So I’ve been using this app since 2018. It has worked flawlessly until 2020. Sometime last year the date functionality broke. I stopped doing Sheiko last year so I’m not sure when exactly this happened.

The date issues causes some issues in not allowing you to select the date when you finish a workout. This issue carries over into other selection areas as well only giving a blank selection screen and no means of resolving. Thus many of your workouts will not have the correct date or exercises.

Overall 3/5 stars. Anyone reading this do not purchase in current state until developers fix the issues.

The date issue has been fixed in the latest update. Thanks for letting us know.

Love the app but there’s an annoying bug

This app would be a 5 star if the date display wasn’t broken for your workout. I can provide screenshots if developer contacts me somehow (don’t know how to report bugs). Don’t get me wrong the workout portion of it works as intended the issue is when your finishing logging and putting which day you completed the workout. I will edit my review once fixed.

I found it, thanks. It's fixed in the latest update. The app settings page has a link for sending me an email. Let me know if you have any further issues to report.

Why is this app even a thing?

You can get all these routines online for free. This app is so unorganized, and such overkill. I have no idea why so many people gave this a 5 star review. I feel like I just got robbed of $13.

Response from developer

Yes, I agree the app was previously a bit cluttered with functionality. I'm happy to let you know the app has been simplified in the latest release, without loss of function. As for why someone would pay for this app, it's a small price to pay for the convenience of not having to use spreadsheets on your phone while working out. That's no fun. Just think of it like buying me a cup of coffee. Plus, you get a nice Apple Watch app so you can even leave your phone in your locker and focus on lifting.

Great app

Great app. The only complaint I have is that if you have never use this style of training, it may be a little confusing at first. It doesn’t really explain to you how to use it. Once you get the hang of it tho it is amazing ! Would highly recommend. I have noticed great gains in strength in no time at all. Highly recommend

Response from developer

That's been a complaint about this type of training for a long time. It can work great for beginners but they really need someone to walk them through it. But if you already know then you're on the road to gold.

Steps You Through Each Lifting Session

With every version, this app keeps getting better. Pick realistic starting weights and let the app take you through each Sheiko phase/cycle.

Convenient app

I like there app, but there are definitely some quality of life things that could be addressed. An example is, how it scrolls back to the top of the screen while I’m trying to put in my next RIR. Another one being it doesn’t always save my weights or notes for the auxiliary stuff. Could be just me, but this is what I’ve found so far. Aside from that, good app, great value.

Awesomely convenient app

Powerlifters dream app for anyone running Sheiko programs. Very convenient interface used to track workout includes video links for each movement and ability to adjust sets/reps. Sure the spreadsheets are free online, but no where near sad easy to use in the middle of a workout.

Insanely well made

Seriously, I’m a general lifter and I wanted to transition to actual competitive powerlifting. I was kind of unsure about what route to go, so I decided to download this app because I’ve heard nothing but the best about Sheiko. It’s a really well made, easy to follow app that will ensure you progress.

Best app best program

The advanced medium load program has earned me multiple medals at multiple meets , including. 495lb / 225kg bench

App Glitches

I am on iOS 12.3.1 on an iPhone 7 and the app continually glitches out. It deleted my workout history, keeps resetting my input weights, and now it won’t stay open for more than a second. It looked like a really great app and I’m sad it’s not useable for $15 :(

Love the programming

As a personal trainer I often used overly complicated programming. This app and the Strongur app both have given me personal gains I would have never thought possible. Approaching 70 years of age I’m setting goals I never reached as a young Marine Training officer over 40 years ago.

Great app

It’s well worth the price and the recent update that lets you easily view workouts ahead of time makes it near perfect. I wish it could still estimate 1RMs from recent rep maxes, but that’s not super important.

Great App

What’s it mean when the exercise just says chest and no workout with it?

iPad Pro

Nice update, but still no iPad functionality so the screen isn’t reduced. Will this be added in the future?
