Slow to setup
Downloaded the app to make some extra money on the side of my full time CNA job. Waited a full month for them to “review the status of my license” before I eventually gave up and went with a different agency. If you are looking for work now, go with a different app.
Waste of my time.
I’m a ICU, I’m unable to use the app for unknown reasons. It won’t let me do one of two background checks needed. But they won’t tell you at all, the AI chat bot is useless, the chat with costumer service is horribly buggy.
Called customer service, she had no answers to why I couldn’t get a background check, the app says it’s locked and not ordered. I wasted over a month trying to get it to work. It never did and I wish I never attempted to try this app.
UPDATE: I emailed them about this after they commented and they are ignoring me. Again this is not a helpful service. Don’t waste your time.

The set up
It’s not a simple payout system, especially trying to wait get an invoice from a facility that’s unprofessional.
Response time is terrible
Just as indicated! Using the platform for years, now something isn’t…right. Reached out regarding an issue, opened a case. Was told to wait 48-72h. I waited 96! Reached out again, told to wait another 48h, I waited 72, still no update. Reached out today they’re “working on it”😡 why isn’t anyone reaching to me for status ESPECIALLY if more time is required! Time is money and I hope I’m compensated accordingly

Difficult
I could not even use the app because they’re system is unable to verify my very active license and I’ve received zero help or assistance from anybody even though they keep saying someone will reach out to me. Very strange they are unable to locate licensure through the board of nursing when it is extremely simple to do. I heard good things about the platform but have been unable to see for myself as this issue is ongoing and they seem to stonewall me every time I reach out for assistance or even an explanation as to what the issue is.

Waiting for Facility Review
Why do I have to wait for facility review to get my instant pay? I get staff signature to clock in/out and on top of that, I need to wait for the facility to review my shift. that’s insane. I lied Shiftkey because of the quick money, but if I work Friday to Sunday and then wait until Monday to get my pay? I don’t like that act all. I pickup with Shiftkey BECAUSE of the instant pay! It’s fine if a facility doesn’t do instant pay but dear Shiftkey, note that on the shift so your employees know and decide if they want to pick up that shift. Not telling us beforehand is deceptive!

Plaid issue
I tried uploading my DL to plaid for verification but the screen would flash grey and go back to the homepage. Facilities won’t accept bids without my updated information. So Shiftkey what’s the problem?

I am a cna who just received my 90 day temp license and shift key refuses to let me work .. I understand I am not in the state system yet but even when I sent my state letter with my temp license number they refused so I can’t work agency for 3 months.. so frustrating
No opportunity
I worked one shift here before and I'm guessing because I canceled one before my reliability score dropped majorly. However I don't think anyone will accept me because they may be judging me off my score that dropped based off one cancellation.

I just seem to have difficulty getting picked for shifts in my area and while trying to travel. I also no sure how long the company has to pick you. Some shifts I have signed up for are 3 hours away. So I cancel after a while because I don’t want them to choose me last minute and I don’t have enough time to make it to the shift.

The only reason this app gets 2 stars is because there's always facilities to pick up shifts with and you could also bid on shifts. The support is trash they asking you to send your personal information in the chat to the agent which is pretty sketchy to me because it's not like my personal information not connected to my account. Then they take out a lot of unnecessary fees when you have your payout to be sent to your card after you work. I noticed to at times they'll send you a notification about a shift and when click the notification or go on the app it says no longer available. Or course they set it up when doing a review on them you can't upload pictures so they could be like we can't find you in the system. Like yea some of us don't use our real name on our play store & apple App Store.

Frozen screens
Some screens freeze up and then you either have to restart the app or the app just automatically closes and restarts on its own
