The app is only marginal
The app is not intuitive at all. I’ve saved favorites, but am never able to find them when I want to order again. I have tried to apply my rewards multiple times and have never yet received my free donut holes. I participated in their June challenge for a Shipley hat, but even after fulfilling the terms of the game I never received my hat. It is a testament to how much I like Shipley donuts that I keep coming there. Frankly, the app is causing so much frustration that I’ve stopped visiting as often.

Finally , Shipley got their own app. Works great and flawless.
Can’t order preselected box
I wanted to order the Shipley’s Box which has preselected donut flavors. When trying to add to cart it gives an error saying I need to choose 12 options for “preselect” which makes no sense if it already has a set amount of donuts and flavors. Prices also seem higher than in person.
This App Needs Major Work
The service fee alone is ridiculous, but it doesn’t even show everything they have available on the menu.
I could don’t order milk on the app, I would have had to order my food, pay the service fee, then order my drink once I got into the store. I might as well just order everything all at one time when I walk in.
Lose the service fee and show the whole menu. Anyone giving this app 5 stars is being disingenuous

Bad Free Donuts Reward Ad
I almost feel like this is false advertising. The App claims it will give you 2 free donuts but then hits you with a service fee that is the same cost as the donuts. -_- Also, this is the second time I try drinks from this restaurant. Don’t recommend. 1st one had so much powder I had to stop my car because I was choking. 2nd time the drink itself tasted rancid or stale. Don’t ask me how does a drink taste rancid/ stale. I have no idea. 😅

Every time I go to Arkansas to visit my grandparents, it is always one of the best things about our trip to Arkansas.
Adds 18% Tip
App automatically adds an 18% tip on the final checkout screen (after you’ve seen and agreed to the total). Shady.
Convenience fee???
The app automatically adds both a convenience fee as well as a 15% tip to the order total. Tip amount can be adjusted or removed but not the convenience fee.
I have low confidence that the tip ever makes it to the individual store let alone the individual who fills or hands me my order. The convenience fee enrages me. I guess corporates keeping that in order to pay for the app development?

Our location is always fast and friendly. Hands down they have the best donuts in town
Food never received
The food is always excellent, however, the food was never received this last time. I’m still waiting to receive my money back.
Did not make my order
I made two different orders and used points just for them to say they never had it. Absolutely ridiculous.

Non refundable Online orders
Orders are non refundable via APP unless you cancel almost immediately. They weren’t able to fulfill order because they didn’t make the donuts. I went instore to have rectified, their boss isn’t available and I have to expect a call from them WHO KNOWS WHEN..I was told. So I’m out $46 and have to work around THEIR schedule. F this app and that branch.

I love Shipleys!
Every Shipleys I been to have been awesome, but I’ve never ordered online and it was super easy, and fast. If you haven’t had Shipleys, you need to try it asap.
Unfriendly interface
Worst interface for ordering! Slider makes it hard to select donut quantities and there is no count tracker to help you know how may are left before your dozen is complete. Literally the two most important components are messed up. Did the developer try ordering with their software?
Very confusing to pay
You can’t just pay with your credit card. You have to add money to the account and the use that balance to pay. It took me a long time to figure out what the reg code was and where to put it
Great donuts/useless app
The app is obviously on autopilot. It won’t let you complete the registration process. It won’t address problems. Leave the App Store now and enjoy your donuts.
