Showcase: Movie & TV Tracker

Fall is upon us, and so is the return of your favourite shows! We spent the summer getting ready by building the biggest Showcase update yet. Showcase 1.4 adds Friends, Apple Watch, and new ways to find your next show or movie. • Friends: You can now invite your friends to share their Showcase! Once you’re connected, you’ll have recommendations in search based on what they’re all watching. Curious if they watched The Odyssey this summer? Just look up the movie (or show) and you’ll see if they’ve watched it, rated it, or are still just following along. Explore their profiles and see what else they’re following, watching, rating, and their stats. • Two-Way Trakt Sync: Automatically sync your watch history, ratings, and watchlist with Showcase Plus. (One-way Trakt imports are always free.) • Apple Watch: Check upcoming releases, see what’s available to watch, and view ratings from your wrist. • Movies and Shows: New tabs for upcoming releases, available titles, and Continue Watching. • Ratings: See critics’ and audience ratings for movies and shows. • Refreshed Personal Showcase: Look back at your viewing stats and hours watched, browse your top-rated movies and shows, and share your favourites. • Redesigned Widgets: Keep an eye on what’s next with updated Home Screen widgets. Now in Large and Extra Large sizes! • Library Search: Search the movies and shows you follow or have watched, even offline. • Siri and Shortcuts: Ask what you can watch tonight or what’s coming soon, and manage your library with Shortcuts. • Updated Title Pages: Artwork sets the colour of each page, adds logos, with clearer details, and an improved Where to Watch section. • More Languages: Showcase now supports Spanish, German, French, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Polish. • Export Your Data: Download your library and episode watch history from Settings. We’ve also improved episode tracking, watch-date editing, release accuracy, and notification timing. Continue Watching now follows your own viewing activity, and a new alert preference helps keep episode notifications focused on shows you’re caught up with. Adjust the order and visibility of tabs on the tab bar. Search loading, friend updates, and iPad resizing are more reliable too.
