About

Feel the tempo. Stay with your class. Silent Tempo is a vibration timer for instructors and anyone who wants workout timing without an audible countdown. Choose a strong buzz interval, add softer taps in between, and save the setup for next time. Phone vibrations require Silent Tempo to stay open and your iPhone unlocked. Your class clock keeps going when you change apps or lock the phone, but vibrations stop until you return. Live Activities show your class time; they do not enable background buzzing. A STOPWATCH YOU CAN READ AT A GLANCE Follow the next strong cue on a classic stopwatch face. Soft-tap times sit around the dial where they happen. A separate outer ring and large class-time readout show progress through the whole session. HOLD. SLIDE. RELEASE. Adjust Strong buzz, Soft taps, and Class length with their own expanding timing wheels. Hold a value, slide through the choices, then release to set it, with tactile feedback along the way. You can also tap to open a wheel. Pause a running class to adjust the timing, then resume. MAKE EACH CUE YOURS Choose the pattern and strength of your strong, soft, and end vibrations separately. Try them in Settings before you start. Choose a class length in whole minutes, up to 180 minutes, or keep going until you stop. SAVE A CLASS. TEACH IT AGAIN. Keep a class name, interval, soft taps, length, and vibration choices together. Tap the class name or Unsaved changes to compare your current and saved setups. Update the saved class, restore its original setup, or save a new version. POCKET MODE, ON YOUR TERMS While class is running, tap Pocket mode to dim the screen and protect the controls. Ordinary taps leave it protected. Hold anywhere and feel increasingly strong taps before a distinct unlock cue returns you to the controls. Releasing early cancels the unlock. Brief app switching, locking, or an interruption does not silently turn Pocket mode off, though iPhone vibration cues still require Silent Tempo to be open and unlocked. SIMPLE CONTROLS, DELIBERATE ENDING Tap to pause. When paused, tap the same button to resume or hold it to end. A filling button and rapid warning taps give you time to release and cancel. YOUR CLASS TIME, STILL IN VIEW Follow a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in Dynamic Island on supported iPhones. Pause, resume, or end the session there. Return to Silent Tempo to rejoin the current rhythm without a burst of missed cues. Live Activities must be enabled. PRIVATE AND FOCUSED Pacing works offline. No account, ads, analytics, or app cloud sync. Class setups and settings stay on your iPhone. Silent Tempo creates no speaker tones, though its vibration motor may be audible against a surface. Try the cues with your usual phone case and carrying position. Requires iOS 18 or later and an iPhone with supported haptic output. This version is for iPhone.
