Flawless mobile scan and easy!
I have added a one touch control on my control center that pulls up the Simple Scan app. I use it all the time, even though I have a desk scanner the simplicity and features of this app are hard to beat.
It takes me literally five seconds to get a one page scan file filed or sent to my photos. Highly recommended!

Great App For document Scanning
I used to only scan documents via the Apple Notes app or via Files App Document Scan Option. Now, I can do it whenever I want and even save the documents DevonThink or other Apps. Cool!
Big bug
I love this app but it has a bug that makes it almost useless. When trying to save a scanned doc there is no way to name or rename it now before saving. It seems to have disappeared. Please fix!!!

Fast. Easy. Powerful. I don’t scan often, and sometimes dread it. But Simple Scan takes all the friction out. It finds and creates normalized scans quickly, and makes delivering the scan straightforward and easy. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Can’t import files from Photos or Files apps, which seems standard with iOS scanning apps, so a bit too simple

Simple as in the name… but powerful and respects your provacy
Was looking for a replacement for my old go-to scanning app which keeps on increasing the price and wants to run my private information through their AI system! This no-frills app that respects your privacy allows me to create a shortcut that I can tap and automatically save a scan to a default folder. I can use and process later.

You need something scanned and saved to the file system without everything getting in your way. Since getting this app 4 yrs ago I’ve not used my desktop scanner at all.

The Best Scanner App
This is the best scanner app I’ve used on the iPhone. Nice and simple, easy to use. Several scanning apps I have used previously are cluttered with unnecessary features . . . Simple scan gets out of your way and lets you just get things done. Highly recommended.

Best quick and easy way to scan something in
What’s great about this app is that you can set up custom workflows, so all you need to do is create a workflow including where you would like a scan outputting to, the naming format, etc., then you can click one button, quickly scan something in and have it go off to the right place with little effort!
In addition to this, it supports control centre actions and Lock Screen widgets. Would definitely recommend!
Would be five stars for me, other than the control actions having to be assigned to a workflow. I’d love to be able to scan and then decide where I want it to go, as I usually scan to Files but sometimes don’t want to do that.
