Got Rid of Circles
None of the recommended STAR or DEEP SKY ‘Settings’ fixed the problem of circles where stars or deep sky objects worked, so I deleted the app itself and from the Apple App Store downloaded the app. This cleaned-up anything that was causing the ‘stubborn’ problem.
Untrustworthy App
Informs of an extraordinary line up and invites me to view. It then takes me to the Sky Safari Pro 8 app to purchase. Disingenuous tactics. I’ve already seen that the pro 8 version asks for more money after purchase. So that’s out.
Ripoff - Don’t purchase
They charge for every major release. Stay away and just get a good computer on your mount…

Setting layout is poor
I had a SkySafari Pro 6 it was very easy to use. With SkySafari Pro 7 version the layout of the settings is awkward. You have a list of options and then you have to traverse across the other side of the screen to find the toggles to activate that function. It's very easy to accidentally toggle the wrong function given the long distance between your option and a toggle switch across one side of the screen to the other. Very poor human factors design.
