Hi Jean, We are very sorry to hear that you have encountered this situation, and we really appreciate you updating your review to let us know about the possible scam you have suffered. Please know that we will never send fines or penalty notices by SMS or unofficial email. Unfortunately, scammers are targeting VDOT users with this kind of fake fee demands, so we’ve added a warning banner on our website to help everyone stay informed. This is a message to Jean and all our users: If you (or anyone) ever receive an unexpected toll or penalty notice, please reach out to us first at info.usa@slorapp.com before making any payment. Thank you very much for your trust and for flagging this issue so we can help to protect our community. Slora Mobility Team
A $1 toll cost me almost $8
Received a notice this a.m. from VA that I didn’t pay the toll and with fine I owed almost $7, with 24 hours to pay, so I paid it.
I checked, all of my information was correct. This afternoon I got a message saying Slora had paid my $1 toll.
I’m not using the app again . It appears that there is too much a delay between when Slora pays the toll.

Update: Did I fall for a scam? I remember seeing the warning on the VDOT website about scams but since I had never used their system, I didn’t think it applied to me. I received a message from someone claiming I “would be fined even more if I did not pay the toll + fine imm.” I owed $1 but the penalty fee was $6. I paid it, so possibly I did both paid the scammer, and Slora paid my toll.
Since this is the first time I have used Slora and also the first time I have tried to pay a toll with VDOT in VA I could have been fooled.

Updating to the new app
Response from developer
Hi MRCEE1. We apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing. To log in or reset your password, please use your phone number with the country code (the + symbol followed by the number 1) before your phone number, without any dashes (-) or spaces. Example: +17075551234. Once you have access using your old PIN code, you will be prompted to update your password to meet the new more secure requirements. If you need any further assistance, please contact info.usa@slorapp.com. Slora Mobility Team
Scammy
It was nothing but a struggle to even get signed in, then it won’t even let me enter vehicles or anything without entering some sort of ID, but it does not even tell me what it wants.
There are words misspelled all over, and the app does not run smoothly.
If I hadn’t already had the original Slora app, (which worked great) I would full out say this is a scam app.
I’ll have to find something else to use for tolls now, I don’t trust this app anymore.
