Worse banking/loan app ever
Just loads into a blank white screen. Can even view statements or balances due to glitches.

I don’t know what’s worse! The glitching app that shuts down half way through explaining something for the 3rd time or the typical lazy oz customer service where nobody reads your question because they are lazy. It’s the whole “I dunno” rather than “I’m not sure, BUT LET ME FIND OUT FROM SOMEONE WHO DOES KNOW SO YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY”
Laziness. Apparently this has been glitching for years? Loan settled an hour ago and I’ve already had a bad first impression. I literally planned the full day with my dying mother to take her out of hospital for the day because I confirmed that the card will be activated after settlement. When someone asks when a card can be activated this obviously implies that it needs to be activated to be used!! Instead they tell you when it’s a active but not that there will be a 3 day delay. This was not communicated previously nor picked up on when I messaged them asking about activation! A simple “technically it will be active but you won’t be able to use it for 3 days” wouldn’t be rocket science! I assumed it was too good to be true and everytging was going suspiciously smooth! But alas at least Australian customer service reps are consistently bad.

GUI needs an update
It’s overall OK, but the app has a few things that make it a mediocre user experience:
1) Every time you login, it prompts you to change your password. WHY?!
2) The way you get to your balances or view your information is way too clunky.
3) If it’s a basic loan, certain features should just be not ‘clickable’… tapping in to dead-ends within an app is frustrating.
4)Payments IN to loan accounts take DAYS to appear. It’s not 1980.
5) Changes made in the app to direct debits in the app DON’T STICK. You still need to call. WHY?!

Stay away please!
When you chat with the agent, after sometime the app will kick you out. Now redo the same thing with a new agent. By the time you reach the app will kick you out again.
The smart money app doesn’t open
It’s been more than two weeks since the app is not functioning. It comes blank. I have contacted the company through chat, phone, and email. But no proper progressive response. They only say the IT department will fix it but no improvement. It’s frustrating. I didn’t expect such kind of delay in fixing an app from this reputed financial institution.
