When turning tv on it turns on gaming console even when that is not most recent application
I have been using Samsung SmartThings for a while to control my Samsung smart devices at home. But recently there have been a lot of network and server error: “Try again later”. It’s like 8 out of 10 times it fails without a concrete reason. Checked online and was told server connection was fine. Customer service didn’t help. I have to keep removing and re-adding the App. That’s the opposite of “smart”!

The app just does not work most times. The tv is switched on, the app says it’s off! No amount of refresh helps.
This app makes it harder to use the TV. They’re trying to get you to buy more of their products, which would theoretically all “work together” on this app. In practice, it just creates more and more barriers to accessing the functions you might actually want to use. It also lets them push content on you that helps them make money. This is not about consumer convenience. It is a marketing tool, and you are being targeted.

App keeps on resetting and closing
Tired of loosing connection, I’m ready to tear out the whole thing and find something more reliable.
This app is never able to find my Samsung TV although every other TV or Remote can.
Pop ups and requests for surveys are annoying
This app is getting two stars because for a Washer And Dryer it’s pretty much pointless. You can send settings that you want set on the machine and send the setting to your machine, but you literally have to go to the machine to start it, stop it, restart it. So, although you will get a notification that your dryer load is done, for example, if you want to restart it or keep your clothes, wrinkle free and you’re nowhere near the machine then you can’t do that. For myself, I can only think of one reason it would be useful to send Settings to my Washer And Dryer, and that would be in the event. My kids want to watch something and don’t know what setting to use, I can send the setting to the machine from my phone, but they will still have to physically go to the machine to start and stop it. I spent thousands on my set, and despite the price tag, my dryer rarely dries on the first round, no matter how hot of a setting I put it on. So, I know I will always have to run my dryer twice at a minimum. It would be nice to be able to just restart my dryer from my phone. I would have for sure given this at five stars just to have that simple feature available.

I can’t use the remote feature
The art mode is the entire reason I purchased this expensive tv and it never works!
I am surprised at all the good reviews for this app. I can’t get it to work. My phone is able to connect with the Wi-Fi from the oven but then it just goes into an error message. And there are at least five different QR codes on my oven that are permanently adhered to it. But none of the QR codes are the ones that would connect it to the SmartThings app. Just from a programmatic viewpoint, it seems insane to have all these QR codes that don’t actually work with the app. I’m beyond frustrated

I like this i can use this
This app would be great if you constantly didn’t need to “re download it every other day!
When I use the shopping list to shop, it closes out after about 30 seconds unless I keep touching my phone to keep it on. So I constantly have to reopen
Trying to add your own pics to a tv design to show your own pics is excruciating. Takes so long to add one picture.
Can’t find devices
The app won’t even let me try to sign in. It keeps glitching and says error.
