This app encourages users to purchase gift cards, but my experience was extremely frustrating. I had already activated the gift card before I went shopping. When I tried to use it at the store, the cashier told me that they do not accept this type of card and I was not even given the opportunity to scan the QR code.
I contacted customer service and asked for a refund, but instead of helping me, they insisted that I try to use the card again. They told me that once the card has been activated, the money cannot be refunded.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I have purchased other types of gift cards through this app before, and those balances could be refunded to my app account. So why is this card treated differently?
If you want to give your money to this app ，I would strongly recommend being very careful before purchasing gift cards through this app.

Honestly I would tell everyone too avoid this app they would do anything too take your i put some money on my account top up and was told too wait for 5 days too have my top up but instead 5 days my money was held up for 8 days and after my top up final shows up i was unable too make purchase and was told my payment method exceeded the limit and until date they won’t let me get my money out

Disgusting Customer Service! Sold a defective card and refused to refund!
Do not waste your money on this scammy app! I purchased an Ulta gift card here, but it was completely unusable. Every time I tried to place an order, Ulta’s system immediately cancelled it because of this card. When I contacted Snaplii with all the proof, their customer service completely shirked responsibility, blaming the merchant and refusing to issue a refund. They are literally thieves stealing my hard-earned money and passing the buck. They do not care about consumer rights at all. Avoid this app at all costs unless you want your money trapped in a useless piece of plastic!

Misleading cashback offers
The app advertises “Earn 5% Snaplii Cash,” which gives the impression that you’ll receive 5% cashback on your full purchase. However, in reality, the higher rate only applies to the portion paid using Snaplii Cash, while the rest of the payment earns a lower rate. This is not clearly communicated and can easily confuse users.
What makes this more frustrating is that users are not even allowed to add Snaplii Cash manually. The only way to get it is through previous cashback, which is usually a very small amount. This means most purchases will continue earning at the lower rate, making the advertised 5% benefit practically insignificant for most users.
While the system may be technically correct, the way it is presented creates a misleading impression of higher rewards. There should be clearer wording explaining how cashback is actually calculated and applied.
I would strongly suggest that Snaplii improve transparency and clearly state that the higher cashback rate only applies to the Snaplii Cash portion and that users cannot directly load Snaplii Cash.
Until this is clarified, the cashback offers feel misleading and not user-friendly.

Snaplii is a great app to earn cashback. It rewards me for buying gift cards for places I normally shop at boosting my overall cashback % when I pay with my credit card
