Fantastic app :))

This app is an essential app, well-designed, simple to use, and is permanently installed and used on my iPhone. Highly recommended! 5 stars, love it!

Didn't give sign up bonus Qantas Points

Expired sign up bonus Qantas points despite reaching goal

User unfriendly design and unhelpful customer service

Poorly designed signup form results in iOS keyboard covering the promo code section, so you’ll miss it, plus customer service won’t retroactively credit promos when the promo code is what attracted the new customer. Plus the signup proces doesn’t ask you to add your frequent flyer number so if you forget look for it buried under a menu somewhere, you will miss out on points earn for that too. This whole scheme is designed to hook in customers with promotions then put them through the worst possible app UI designed to prevent customers from benefiting from the promos.

FAQ

What does the Sniip app do?

The Sniip app allows users in Australia to pay a wide variety of bills that have a BPAY Biller Code. It offers features like tracking payments, scheduling future payments, setting up recurring payments, and automatically importing emailed bills. Users can also earn rewards on eligible bill payments.

How do I pay a bill with Sniip?

To pay a bill, you can scan the BPAY Biller Code using the Sniip app. Then, enter the payment amount, select your preferred debit or credit card, and authorize the payment securely using Touch ID, Face ID, or a PIN. The process is designed to take less than 20 seconds.

Are there any subscription fees or hidden costs?

No, there are no subscription fees, fixed fees per transaction, or other hidden fees in the Sniip app. The only cost involved is a processing fee that is applied once per card payment, depending on the card type used. Paying from a bank account is free of processing fees.

What types of bills can I pay with Sniip?

You can pay over 60,000 Australian bills that have a BPAY Biller Code. This includes a wide range of expenses such as tax bills, school fees, rent, insurance, utilities, and membership renewals. If a bill has a BPAY Biller Code and Reference Number, it can likely be paid through Sniip.

What are the processing fees for different payment methods?

Paying from a bank account is free. Debit cards incur a 0.65% processing fee, and prepaid cards incur a 0.85% fee. For American Express, personal payments have a 1.29% fee (excluding certain billers), and business rates are tiered from 1.75% +GST. Other credit cards like Visa and Mastercard incur a 1.5% fee (3% for international cards).
