Can’t get it to open

I can’t get this app to open. I wanted to set up an account on my Social Security benefits. I’ve tried several several times they say they sent email and that email I haven’t shown up yet. It’s been an hour plus

I can’t even create an account!!

I need to sign on to this app because I need to find out what’s going on for this new tax year. However, I can’t seem to find a button or a place to click so I can start an account. No wonder the app only has a 2.4 rating, it’s extremely hard to make it work for you and navigate!

FAQ

What is the Social Security App used for?

The Social Security App is used to track and trace business travels and to streamline the compliance process of filling out A1 applications. It helps ensure that all business travelers have the necessary approved A1 social security application for travels exceeding 24 hours in EU/EEA countries.

How does the Social Security App help with compliance?

It automates the A1 application process, reducing handling time significantly and ensuring accuracy. This helps companies avoid potential fines and legal issues associated with non-compliance for international business travel.

Can the Social Security App track employee locations?

Yes, the app utilizes the device's location feature to automatically detect when a user enters a foreign country. It then proactively prompts the user to log this information if it is work-related.

What are the risks of not having an A1 application?

Employers risk significant fines (e.g., 3,600 EURO per traveler in France), claims for social security payments in the visited country, and potential risks for employees who may fall under the social security of the country they are visiting without the correct certificate.

How long does it take to file an A1 application with this app?

The app can reduce the handling time for A1 applications to approximately 30 seconds per allocation, compared to the 15-30 minutes it might take to file manually.

Does the Social Security App support onboarding for new users?

Yes, onboarding can be completed either by an administrator or through a self-service option where employees enter their own data.

What devices is the Social Security App available on?

The Social Security App is available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices.
