What's New in Solar Eclipse Guide

3.0.13

August 10, 2026

Two eclipses are coming this August, and Eclipse Guide is getting ready for both. First up is the total solar eclipse on August 12. Then, on August 27–28, comes a partial lunar eclipse. For the solar eclipse, every second counts. In many places, the key moments will happen just before sunset, and the viewing window may be very short. That’s why we’ve refined the calculations and updated the maps, with event times accurate down to the second. Like the update? Leave us a review. If something doesn’t look right or the app isn’t working as expected, message our support team — we read every report.

Very informative

Non-eclipse notifications again

If you want inane notifications harassing you from 7 to 8 at night, get this thing. Cos that’s what you need hey. Notifications. For articles. Srsly tho, it defeats the purpose of an app telling when eclipses are coming when we have to turn off the notifications to avoid the harassments. It would be nice if it gave an opt-in for the non-solar/lunar eclipse articles.

Response from developer

The vast majority of users read articles and look forward to them every day, hence the regular notifications. Eclipses occur several times a year. We'll consider adding the ability to sort notifications by type.

Missleading app

On the preview it makes it look so good different eclipses date and time but when I bought this app it’s nothing like the preview…there no option to click on or times dates or solar

Response from developer

It seems that you didn't get how to use Eclipse Guide, but no worries! We recommend contacting our support team. You can do this directly from the application by selecting the "feedback" item in the menu. They will guide you through the app.

Easy to use! Love it!

Best eclipse guide I’ve found! Thank you!
