Non-eclipse notifications again

If you want inane notifications harassing you from 7 to 8 at night, get this thing. Cos that’s what you need hey. Notifications. For articles. Srsly tho, it defeats the purpose of an app telling when eclipses are coming when we have to turn off the notifications to avoid the harassments. It would be nice if it gave an opt-in for the non-solar/lunar eclipse articles.

The vast majority of users read articles and look forward to them every day, hence the regular notifications. Eclipses occur several times a year. We'll consider adding the ability to sort notifications by type.

Missleading app

On the preview it makes it look so good different eclipses date and time but when I bought this app it’s nothing like the preview…there no option to click on or times dates or solar

It seems that you didn't get how to use Eclipse Guide, but no worries! We recommend contacting our support team. You can do this directly from the application by selecting the "feedback" item in the menu. They will guide you through the app.

Spam you each day with garbage notifications

Downloaded app for 2024 eclipse, had to enable notifications but each day they spam you with junk unrelated to the Apr 8 eclipse and no way to stop those spam push notifications. Will not buy again, made a mistake.

Love it

I’ve looked at many eclipse apps. This is my favorite. Reads current gps position if you are mobile. Excellent, simple simulation of eclipse. Not overly complicated like some. Fairly intuitive to use.

Ok, but too many notifications

There’s no way to select which notifications are sent, so it’s sending one every couple of days about random space stuff. That’s not why I installed the app. It’s been so annoying that the only option is to switch off all notifications from the app. Looking for alternatives that don’t spam about irrelevant stuff.

The $0.99 cents charge is a scam.

Y’all could have just charged $0.99 for the app instead of the useless, larger, non-HD, wrongly proportioned map. There is a huge room for improvement. • Map quality can be vastly improved. • Quality of the Map Simulation can also be improved. • Ability to scrub forward or backward on the simulation timeline. And much more.

I wasn’t referring to a “google map style” layered map but just a higher resolution map with the right proportions of the continents. Greenland is currently displayed as almost the size as Africa. Does that make sense??

Thank you for the remarks. The map is of sufficient quality to track the trajectory of the eclipse, the new Google Map with layers of cities and streets does not make sense in this context. In the eclipse timeline, the slider can be moved back and forth now.

Amazing app

I really like this app. I recently bought the premium access for $0.99 and I have all the features! I like the fullscreen feature. I like the sky view of the eclipse. I can appear to look at eclipses from 2017-2024. I’m super excited about the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024! I hope I have clear skies that day! I like this app so much and I’ll definitely look at a lot of eclipses in the future! P.S. I’d really rate 10, but that’s not an option, so I’m basically rating 5!

Only covers a few eclipses and you can’t even see local durations or times. Waste of money

All the solar and lunar eclipses from now til the end of 2027 are covered in the app.

Useless for Planning

Capabilities are hyped, even having in-app purchase. Limited list of cities and features, and no environment data. Poor mapping. Look elsewhere.

Пользуюсь приложением редко и тут у меня в комнате что-то заговорило про затмение 😟 я не как не мог понять откуда звук потом меня это начало пугать когда приложение сказало что бы я спешил и назвало время затмения.Пусть будет.3,2,1 И в космос 🚀 полетим.
